I know young and old, professional and blue collar people who call themselves Jewish, yet, whenver I ask them questions about their Bible, they say they don't read it. Is it important or not to read the Bible if you are Jewish?

I am in a Speech Debate Class at my school, and for our final exam, we were placed in to groups to debate his issue. I was grouped into the Pro-Natural Disasters group.

I am a confirmed Catholic, and am having a lot of troubles finding factual evidence for the Natural Disaster side of things.

Of which there are plenty, by the way....but I'm wondering what you think of the Archaeopteryx, a missing link between reptiles and birds?

"It had bird characters, feathers and wings. It also had reptilian characters, the skeleton of a small theropod (flesh-eating) dinosaur, with a long bony tail, fingers with claws on the leading edge of the wing, and teeth in the jaws. A further seven skeletons have come to light. In addition, fantastic new specimens of birds have been found in Spain and China, which are some 30 or 40 million years younger than Archaeopteryx, and they are more bird-like, exactly as an evolutionist predicts. The new Spanish and Chinese birds have short bony tail tails, and their hand claws are reduced - they are becoming more bird-like. The Chinese localities have not only produced amazing new birds, but also new dinosaur specimens with feathers"

Even with this kind of hard evidence, EXACTLY what so many of you ask for, do you still deny transitional fossils exist??

that I was taken into another realm where I saw many prophets from the past and met Jesus Himself? Did you know that He is alive right now? I saw Him, talked with Him. He died yet came back to life...and lives forever more. Ask Jesus Christ Himself to come to you. What if He comes into the room? That is how real He is...how alive and all powerful He is.

I met Jesus Christ, He is not an imagination...all things are under His power, and He rules all creation from the heavens. Start believing. The good news is He rose to give us life and light and the right to come back to God.

Jesus is listening, whatever you speak right now He will hear with living ears...waiting for you to ask Him for His free gift...just ask. Just ask right now for Jesus to birth a new life in your chest right now...a well of living life giving water. You will even feel the coolness of that water inside you, actually feel it.

Its all real, all real. It happened, He lives...ask Him.

Look @ the facts: Dan 7:9 (God is black) Ezekiel 1:7 (Angels black) Lam 4:8 (Jews (clearly) Black) Job 30:30 (Job black) Ex. 2:17-19 (The original Egytians were black. If Moses was white then how do u confuse him as Egyptian?) Acts 21:37-39 (Similar 2 Ex. 2:17-19 but w/ Paul) And of course I can't 4get about Rev. 1:13-15 (The Revelation Of Jesus Christ Rev. 1:1)

one of the two must be true about god (i would think)

A) god is baised, and only heals sick people who other people have prayed for. in otherwords, if prayer determines who god heals, then that implies that god >would< not heal someone in need just because no one prayed for them. that doesnt sound very benevolent does it?

B) god disregards prayer when deciding who to heal, thus directly rendering prayer pointless.

SO,either god is not benevolent, or prayer is pointless, you choose...

the site, peteranswers, claims to be answering questions with the assistance of souls how exist on the other side (not living on earth as we are) and I can't get a straight answer on whether or not my daughter was told she'd die unexpectedly at 14 or whether or not it's predicted so by the site. I'm terribly troubled by the whole thing and haven't found sufficient contradictory information to put my mind at ease over the subject. My friends have checked out the site and some say they don't have any answers about the authenticity of otherworldly answers being given or if the vague answers they were given, like me, are always the case, vague, and my daughter is making this up. Please help.

...then, considering the demise of the ancient Greeks / Romans / Egyptians / etc. religion (in which they believed in the concept of many gods / goddesses termed "polytheism"), will today's religions (particularly the "great three": Judaism, Christianity, Islam) also suffer the same consequences in the future time??? What is your prediction of the future religions of the world??? Will it transcend to atheism??? Considering the prospects of the advancement of science in the future, will scientology become the new "in" religion???

I am just wonder, if he was really mighty, powerful ( as Genesis ), he would had created human with all knowledge of religion therefore human ( like stupid as I am ) will listen to him and known what is RIGHT and WORNG.
Freewill is not the answer, if Freewill is necessary to TEST our love to the GOD, that won't be right to say GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING (Omniscience).
If freewill is something God has no control, than won't be right to say GOD IS CREATOR (Omnipotent)

Genesis is full of Blood, Sex, and voilent. God choose whom he wants and think the best, then it won't be right to say GOD LOVES EVERYONE SAME.

So who think he DOES HIS BEST ?
Or who think he is not

if we were all seeking and asking God to make us like him, perfect in spirit before Jesus came. We all know that God can do all things. Or repair our way unto him. Why would he send his son if we were seeking him? Do u seek after God?

In my life I have come accross hundreds of Bigoted Christians. I have seen both in person and on TV many fundamentalist religious groups who spread their hate accross the globe. Doesn't matter if they are Muslim or Christian or whatever. Hate is hate. Why would faith in God cause a person to hate so much?
