You need to start in Genesis and read your Bible the whole way through. Every book. You need to learn wha the "Old" Testament says about the disobedience of Israel. The questions you ask are coming across as if you are ignorant of what the Bible says.
The Biblical answer to your comments above is:
Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Why?

God is righteous man is not. God knew man would fall as God is all knowing. His plan is revealed in the first scripture he sent to us the first book of Moses called Genesis. In the Garden man eats of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This tree represent God's rightness the law. God warned when man ate of it he would surely die. The wages of sin is death. God can not be joined to sin. It was God's plan before creation to be a savior for his creation. The tree of life is also in the garden it represents God's mercy and Jesus Christ. Because man had sinned he had fallen from God and he had earned death. God is righteous and does not pretend sin is okay and does not overlook sin the penalty had to be paid. therfore man was condemened to death but a merciful God did come to the world in the form of man to overcome temptation sin and death and pay that penalty of death for those who accept the atonement.

Jesus came to save us from our-sinful-selves. We cannot be made perfect in spirit, only the Holy Spirit which is in Chris† is Perfect. We are imperfect. "The wages of sin is death" God's Son IS our way unto Him, the only way for us to be reconciled to God and made righteous and to become like Him is through His Perfect Righteousness because Jesus never sinned. He made the Way. God did repair our way unto Him, by sending His Perfectly Righteous Son
And since He is without sin, and we are not, In order to enter heaven where God lives, we must first be washed clean of all our sins and be made righteous. as there is nothing undefiled, unclean or unrighteous in heaven. That is God's Home. So God sent His Son to take the punishment of our sins in our place so that we can be presented unto God spotless and clean. So that we COULD be made righteous in God's sight.
God sent Jesus to be the Mediator between us & God. Otherwise we would all perish and go to hell, as there is none righteous on earth, not one. We have ALL fallen short of the glory of God. "Our righteousness is but filthy rags to God" Isaiah 64:6†
It wasn't about seeking Him, that He sent His Son, is about our sinning and unrighteous selves that could never be reconciled to God on our own works and self-'righteousness. As are hearts are full of evil and unrighteous things when judged by God who IS Righteous and Holy. No one can come unto the Father except through His Son "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, No one comes unto the Father, except through Me"--Jesus ** John 14:6
Seek His Forgiveness, seek His Mercy and seek His Grace.
"If you forgive others when they sins against you, your Father who is in heaven will forgive you your sins. But if you do not forgive others their sins, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive you your sins." Matthew 6:14, (It's the next two verses directly under the Lord's Prayer†).

Because God loves us, His creation, he sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins. The sin we are born into because of Adam at Eden. Atonement for sin, under the law, required blood sacrifice. Jesus was sent to be that blood sacrifice for all of us by taking our sins upon Himself and shedding His blood on the cross. So, by one man's sin we all were lost, by Christ's blood sacrifice we can all be saved from damnation and hell for eternity. Believing in Him, being reborn in Christ, is the key which gains us our salvation.
The short answer to your question is that we are unable to communicate with God except through the blood of Christ. seeking Him without accepting Christ is impossible.

Blood, it takes a blood covering for sin, it always did. In the Old testament, you see they had to do blood sacrifices. God made a way of escape from hell. Its not just for sins Jesus died for, that was a part of it. But that opened a door right into Heaven with God, now we can walk into the blessings, and not tremble do to the Power of God killing us when we reach him. God See's his Son's love, his blood, and Gods True Words, "ANYONE WHO CALLS UPON THE NAME OF JESUS SHALL BE SAVED".
The blood covers the door to hell, and we can not fall through it, its our net.
Its also called the foundation of God. Its so strong, Satan can not put a hole in it, but my friend you can, by sin, God can not look on sin,
Jesus dieing on the cross, God turned his back, the wind blew, and the earth shook, that was to tell us, if we do not have this blood on us, that will happen to us. We need the blood covering. Jesus said, the only way to God, was through him.
John 3:16

Jesus came to straighten up the real teaching of God / forgiveness.
Jesus took the key of Hades.
Christian Protestan appeared from Roman Vatican church to straighten up the teaching of Jesus Christ. (Vaticah Church at that time was so misleading/absolute power over religion)
Think of it

Because He loves us and we needed Him in the worst way, not unlike society today. I doubt anyone would be here if He hadn't come. He may have had to destroy earth.

The whole concept of God being under some absolute need to send a son to get himself to forgive us is absurd.
The Lord of Abraham does not need this nonsense but the Pagan Roman god Mithra might.

Because that's just the way He is.
If it had to do with the way we are, we'd all be doomed.
