Many are convinced that the people in Jesus' time were so advanced and different from us that they never ever made up myths or created stories about Jesus which were then included in the bible. That's simply amazing! So, does anyone know how and when the human race changed in the last 2000 years? ;) ;)

My GPA sucks, by now it is 1.0 and I haven't get the results of the semester that just finished 1 week ago but I expect my GPA to get like 1.5 or 2.0. I know, BYU requires a 3.0 GPA which is what I am going to work on as hard as I can to get for the fall semester at the community college that I'm attending.
What happens is that I want to transfer for Winter 2008 and I know, it's kind of too fast, and the deadline for transfers is October 1st. I am active in chucrch, start (tomorrow) to volunteer in a hospital, would this help me?
But my point is, if I apply for the Winter session and I get rejected, and then I increase my GPA for the next semester (s) and I apply for Summer again, would that affect my status to have applied before and being rejected? would they considere me for admissions?
I haven't yet because I am a new LDS convert but I have all the intention to start institute ASAP. What are my chances?

few common things in animal and human are:

1.eating(one can say animals don't eat in restaurant as we do, )

2. having sex(one can say we do it in our houses but they do it openly),

3. sleeping(one can say they don't sleep in well consturcted houses as we do)

4. and defending ourselves from other living beings.(one can say animal defend themselves by their sharp teeth and nails but humand defend by bombs, guns , army etc.)

i think human are doing the same activities as animals

are we just an advance version of animals or just little polished animal

I know that the Bible says that only God knows the time when the end of days will happen. But, Jesus also told this parable saying, "See the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near. Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished."

Based on this parable, I have 3 questions.
1.) Do you feel that you are seeing the fig tree budding and are noticing that summer is near?

2.) Or do you not see it budding at all?

3.) If you do see it budding, what sequence of events have you noticed happening?

ou know what i think.

eternal repetition.

The Universe is a closed system. so. Knowing that, there are only so many particles in the Universe. Unimaginable numbers, more than you can ever even begin to fathom.

but. there is still a set number. lets say (for simplicity's sake) that there are 3 particles total in the entire universe. 3 superstrings.

with a set number of objects, you can only have a set number of combinations.

although it would take thousands and millions and billions and trillions of eons for this to happen.. eventually.. the particles will align the same EXACT way they did when the earth was created... and life will trickle down the EXACT way it did this time.. leading to NOW. where i will write and you will read this EXACT same article..

They have all these humanly ungodly rituals. Worshiping archangels, and saints. Confessing and repenting their sins through mortal men. They pray to spirits. Pray for dead people, hoping they will find their way to heaven. I mean c'mon God isn't that dumb, and it is disrespectful to doubt God like that. Either you get saved or not your prairs won't do much. Not only are their rituals excessive. It serves no purpose other than for humanly purpose. Self gratifications. They might they they are being holy, but actually it's quite unholy.

I realize this isn't the best place to ask about homophobia, but I'd just like to start an earnest discussion regarding the connection. As a member of not only Amnesty International, but 2 gay/lesbian/bisexual legal defense funds, I believe that hatred based on religious belief is one of the reasons America cannot, as a nation, move forward, and I'm highly interested to find out how people think about the issue on here. Please, no biblical quotes unless you can support it with relevant subject matter, and no slander, because, after all, we're all on this planet together. 10 shiny points for an HONEST response. :)

For so many people being on one forum, and so many supposed "like minded individuals" how can you claim a belief and then turn around and tear down one of your own?

Perhaps someone can enlighten me on this..... is it not our place in life to encourage spirituality and value life on a dailey basis? To enjoy the journey ?
It would appear to me that some on this forum would rather try and pick someone elses beliefs apart, rather then actually posting something original from their own thoughts!
