I look forward to it, it will keep me away from those like Jerry Falwell, I'd rather burn eternally than deal with him and his supporters

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: I do not believe a god worth worshiping would create such a place as the hell generally described by Christians. There are simply too many things labeled sin, and too little which mitigates against it.

The concept that the only way to avoid this eternal torture is to "believe in Jesus" or some such presupposes that it is only a willful disobedience that keeps us from believing. But in fact the reality of ordinary life -- the perceptions of our senses, the analysis of our minds -- offers no help in believing such an unlikely story as that in the gospels.

So do you really want to worship a god who tortures everyone except the extremely gullible? Or that condemns people for using their minds? The necessary faith is not simply an act of will, after all: if you cannot believe it, you cannot.

No, hell fire is not what I worry about.

I have at times past worried about being eternally seperated from God.......now that was scary.

It's a slippery slope and we have to be very careful when we think we are right and really are not. Jesus said that everyone who say Lord Lord to me will not enter the kingdom of heaven, only those who does the Father's will.
What is his will? Read your bibles.

Nope.
I'm pretty sure the choice is ours.
This life - here - now - can be either heaven or hell.
Its a matter of attitude
and I have the ability to decide mine.

Yeah, all the time.

I fell asleep on one of my kittens when I was 6.

I don't think Buddha will ever forgive me for that.

No, I am going to heaven. So don't think about hell, think about Paradise.

100% no. It's completely the opposite of unconditional love and doesn't exist. And if it did exist, I would WANT to go there because I would NOT want to spend eternity with a deity that allowed such a place to exist.
