The definition of God is “God has every perfection”. Even if you do not accept the existence of God, you accept that definition. Not through faith, simply because this is what people mean when they use the word “God”. Thus, by definition, God is not lacking in any perfection, simply because that is what the word “God” means. If you can understand this sentence, this definition, you have to agree, even if you do not think this being exists. So we are all agreed on the definition, as we can all understand this definition “God has every perfection”.
If God has every perfection, however, he must have the perfection of existence. Otherwise, you are contradicting the definition of God by saying he is less perfect. But if you understand what the word “God” really means, it is impossible to do so. So God has the perfection of existence. Thus God exists, simply by definition of what God is.
To say that this God does not exist is liking saying, “A God that exists does not exist.”
Thus, we were created in His image and I've stated this in many of my other answers that we are given the grace to know what's right and wrong if we listen to him. If it feels wrong, it probably is. If your unsure, you concur it to the Bible or God.
Freewill is only there so we can have a personal relationship that extends our beliefs to Him. Satan betrayed God's trust with pride, that was the first sin ever commited. And you know the story about the sudden division between the heavens and hell. In essence I think He knew there would be both the faithful followers and the betrayer's but it was His to give. God is the creator and he has given his love through creation because he does hold together the seasons and continuations of the earth.
"God poured out all His wrath on Jesus Christ , so God ultimately took the fall once more for us. I believe that right there is the ultamite love and that is what the Bible says. And, as a result, God isn’t angry at anybody anymore. He is extending salvation. Now is the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of Jubilee, where He extends salvation to all who will hear and respond to the story, the Good News of what Jesus did on the cross for all people everywhere for all time. Now, in the Old Testament, I think it’s a mistake to say that somehow He’s harsh. It’s just a different covenant. And Jesus said that. I’m instituting a new covenant. The old covenant with the children of Israel had to do with observing laws, rules and regulations. And when they broke those laws, rules and regulations, they broke the covenant, and they lost out on the blessings of God. But over and over again, they returned to Him. And I love some of the Psalms, where they talk in terms of “His mercy endures forever. His loving-kindness endures forever.” And you need to keep that picture in mind. God hasn’t changed. His loving-kindness endures forever, and it was in His plan and purpose to have a Messiah, to have a sacrifice for all sin for all time. And that plan was made and written out in the Old Testament. It’s a different covenant.

Yes, God loves all of us the same because He is God. He doesn't have the weaknesses, limitations, and selfishness of man. Only He can judge each person's heart. You can know right from wrong if you take the time to seek the truth. God is omniscient and omnipotent and infinitely more intelligent than we are--you can be sure that any screw-ups in the world are of man's making, not God's; e.g., GWB. Read the Book of Job carefully and see what God says to people who second-guess the way He does things. The fact that you're asking questions and seeking truth is God calling you to get to know and love Him. Peace to you. Keep searching; He'll find you and you'll never be the same.

God did create man with a knowledge of God. It has been man's choice to accept or reject that knowledge. Because God loves us and is not a control freak, He allows us the right to chose. He also requires we face the consequences for those choices. Because He loves us He provides a way for us to come back to Him. The blood, sex, and violence in Genesis is the same as we face today because man choses not to follow God.

I doubt you understand the art of english... anyway, He is the best. He did the best to create the universe. You should read about how man had their downfall. There is all that horrible stuff in Genesis because man caused the problem.

The god in genesis was walking in the garden [on legs?]. What do you expect from an anthropomorphic god, a perfect creation? The Genesis god was only one of many [Elohim in Hebrew = gods], that’s why it says “The man has become like one of us.” Yahweh was borrowed from earlier Mesopotamian religions.

God is perfect, our limited minds can't begin to grasp his greatness. It is like an ant trying to understand math.

His creation in GENESIS was perfect ........unfortunately Adam and Eve were not ........... FREE WILL were given to them by God.
Warning was given to them NOT to take forbidden fruits of knowledge, but they did. They were not ready for them.
God is forgiving, He still take care of them and didn't execute them straight out.

HE did a perfect job. If you are a good husband, will you lobotomize your wife to avoid her cheating on you with the free will needed to be purposely faithful to you?
