Is 666 found anywhere in the Bible besides in Revelations? Just what does it represent? Why are people so scared of the number?

I think its disgusting how these animals suddenly find Jesus in prison, because all you have to do is believe in Jesus and all your crimes will be forgiven WHAT BS. There is no Jesus but there is a natural law to things and if you are an animal in prison you deserve to suffer for all eternity no matter what you believe.

Seems like so many Christians do not consider other Christians REAL Christians.

When you ask about the millions of prisoners, divorced people or overweight people (despite US census reports that show they are mostly Christian) you are told, "Oh, well they are obviously not REAL Christians". Christians who are gay are also said not to be REAL Christians. Christians who are Roman Catholic are accused of not being REAL Christians. JWs and Mormons? Yup you guessed it, not REAL Christians. Christians who observe the Sabbath and OT laws, are not REAL Christians. Those who do not baptize with water are accused of not being REAL Christians either. Those who do not speak in tongues are accused of not being REAL Christians. Those who vote Democrat- Not REAL Christians. Those who vote Republican- Not REAL Christians. Those who allow female pastors and ministers are said not to be REAL Christians. That doesn't leave much REAL Christians left.

So what exactly IS a REAL Christian?

who you thought shared similar religious views as yours, told you that they are pagan and have been practicing witchcraft all of their lives, and just never told you because they didn't know how you'd react?

how would you feel about being friends with this person with different religious views, practices and rituals?

I believe in God, I've seen him work in my favor. So I am one who believes. And I'll continue to believe

Why do you or Why don't you?

So if you don't believe in God than what or who do you believe in? What has they or it done for you?

Many many people told me in their responses to my first Adam and Eve related question that God had intended for Adam and Eve to fail and fall (according to several answers, in order for us to attain free will but also necessitating the blood sacrifice atonement for original sin):

Many people in their responses to my second Adam and Eve related question told me that God had NOT intended for Adam and Eve to fail and fall, that he may or may not have foreseen it and allowed it, but that it definitely wasn't his intent.

Why such divergent views? Wouldn't the scripture be very clear about this? Does this conflict of beliefs concern anyone, or is it irrelevant? And how can I tell which position is correct?

Why do so many preachers misrepresent evolution? If it's something they hate so much, why don't they take the time to understand what it really is instead of resorting to ignorant rhetoric like, "why are there still monkeys?" or "there would be a crocoduck!" or "My mama wasn't a monkey!"

Wouldn't it be easier to minister to atheists if you could speak the language of natural selection and evolution?

What harm could it possibly do?

There is not one religion that has over 33% of the world population as its followers. That means at least 67% of the world will end up in Hell. At least. If another religion than the biggest one is true, it'll be even more.

Does that mean Satan is doing a much better job than the gods?

You have to admit, even though in the depth of your thoughts you know there is no creator, religion gives so much. Afterlife of eternal happiness does sound good even though I have no idea of how it works. But lets just say that it's possible that it does work.

If god (a god, any god, it doesn't matter for this purpose) appears before you, would you be happy with that?

People have tried threats and bribes...no luck.

If, tomorrow, the pope said women could join the Jesuits as equals to men in all ways, and the order accepted it, I'd convert.

It's damnably hard to live a life of service as a Wiccan, because no legitimate Wiccan church (501(c)3 org) has the $$$$. I'm in debt up to my eyeballs because I took a low paying research job instead of a high paying sales one.
This very small Papal act would show without a doubt that the Abrahamic god totally existed and I was wrong. I'd even go on the record, write books and tour the world to say I was wrong.

When I was first studying theology, one of my best friends, and I still consider him one, was a Jesuit. My son's old enough to be fine, and my wife agrees that if these changes are made in the Catholic church within the next 48 hours, I'd have to join and she'd accept it as ordained by god.
