There is not one religion that has over 33% of the world population as its followers. That means at least 67% of the world will end up in Hell. At least. If another religion than the biggest one is true, it'll be even more.

Does that mean Satan is doing a much better job than the gods?

It says in the Bible that God rules the Heaven and he ALLOWED Satan to run to and fro on the Earth doing mis-deeds, instituting confusion, etc. Confusing people and getting them to divide is one of Satan's favorites. We need to realize we are ONE people, under ONE God regardless of what building we go into each Sunday. In fact, in the Bible Christ calls all of His people COLLECTIVELY the bride of christ, to be united as ONE with Him. Satan's teritory is limited to the air around us and the Earth itself. He's doing a great job of subtly bringing greed, malice, mean-spiritedness, and hatred among all of God's people. And we are ALL God's but we have to choose. We choose Earth over Heaven or Heaven over Earth. I tell you, with me and the hell I've been thru, I'd like to bend over and tell Satan to kiss me where the sun doesn't shine. He has zero power over me so I am one person he's not doing a good job on. And I have brain enough to recognize that all these denominations belong to one whole. Gods whole. He is the Maker, not the one of perdition who brings evil into the world. Oh, don't get me wrong. He's powerful but God's power is stronger and always has been and always will be. We choose whether or not to let Satan run our show. If we do, I am afraid the disappointment is great. You may get what you want for awhile, then you just get hung out to dry. At least God is always there to pick up the pieces and help right us when we fall.

Not really. The 'hell' notion of being a real physical, eternal place is a VERY WRONG one. And Satan in my opinion is just a metaphor, not a single entity. The badness comes from us, we're responsible for our own actions. So religion is just someone's way to find his/her own spiritual path. And if this person chooses not to adhere to any religion, then it's their path, and they won't burn.

Chill Markyyy, and don't be upset from all the preaching answers. I get them all the time that I became numb.

Not all religions are exclusive. Not all posit the existence of Satan or Hell. I'm afraid your question is inherently flawed.

No satan isn't doing better. The Bible says that satan has dominion over the earth for a while and so satan is just practcing his dominion while he can because that too shall pass.

Hmmm ... if I was inclined to believe in satan, I'd see it that way.

You also have to take into account that every major religion is divided into different sects. Certainly not every one in every sect is going to make it into heaven, as well. Just ask the protestants, they'll tell you.

The big flaw here is, not all religions have a concept of "hell" or "Satan."

But I get what you're saying.

Yes. Satan doesn't have to do a damned thing to get followers. Other religions have to convert people (babies and non-babies).

God has anti-trust laws setup to keep any one religion from attaining majority market share. When one religion saturates one region for too long, it uses uncompetitive tactics to suppress competition.

For example, the Inquisition made use of blatantly illegal tactics to minimize the market growth of Paganism.

Just think of the abuses if one religion reached monopoly saturation.

Satan is the god of this world. And he has a lot of influence. Influence does not make someone better. God is better based on who he is, not on how many followers He has.
