Christian Scriptures teach they do, but only after the Tribulation begins. Passages such as Revelation 6:9-11 and 19:1-10 suggest those in Heaven retain their memories and understand what's happening on the earth.

During the 1,000-year reign of Messiah, those in Heaven (including the OT saints, such as Abraham and David) will return to the earth and reign with Him as kings, priests, judges, teachers, etc. (Rev. 5:10, 1 Cor. 6:3 and Isaiah 1:26). This is necessary because righteous Jews and Gentiles will survive the Tribulation; they will repopulate the earth. While all Jews will be saved from birth, the trouble-makers will come from those born to the Gentile nations; they only have 100 years to decide whether they will follow Messiah or not. If they refuse to follow Him, they are put to death (Isaiah 65:20).

EDIT: "1saint," please see 1 Samuel 28:16-19 -- Samuel clearly knew what was happening here on earth, although he was dead. Remember, though, Samuel was in "Abraham's Bosom" at the time, not Heaven; currently, he's in Heaven.

Eccleisastes 9:4-6 - " For as respects whoever is joined to all the living there exists confidence, because a live dog is better off than a dead lion.  For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.  Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun."

That's a very interesting question. If you haven't read the play, "Our Town", do so. I think that the definition of heaven is complete peace; and I think whatever we need to attain that will be ours. But we won't have a worldly perspective anymore. So, as much as it pains me, I don't think that our relatives in heaven spend a lot of time thinking about us.

I do not believe so. I believe they are at rest. The prophet Samuel is a good example. Did he know what was going on? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Now this is what I believe. I can not say that the Bible says one way or the other.
