He's been running around hugging just about everyone else - Muslims,Hindus,Eastern Orthodox,Jews even from what i hear...but so far no photo of His Holiness embracing a lovely Wiccan - you know,bury the hatchet,let's put it all behind us,silly business anyway all those witch-burnings. I wonder if perhaps he is concerned that such an encounter might be misconstrued? I mean,how pretty are they anyway? How young? What would you think?

Tell me what your definition of an atheist is, because obviously some people do not know. I am truly curious as to why, even if a person IS an atheist, do they think it is a bad thing?

This is an answer from a question tonight and as he says, he is not an atheist. Can you tell me what he is describing, then?

When I close my eyes and look deep into myself I find my inner strength, my will to go on no matter who life brings me. When I open my eyes I see my loving family and caring friends.

I don't ever depend on a super natural being to help me in my time of need, not because I am prideful or arrogant.

I just in myself.

P.S. I am not atheist, I just don't see enough proof to make me believe in a higher power, wither that be Zeus, hades, Jesus, God or another high being.

have been suffering from insonmia...everynight i will weeped more than 2 times.....feeling very hopeless, although i prayed to God everynight b4 i sleep but i still remain insecure,fear hopeless...... i remember it happend not long ago,my dad choked a fish bone,i broke down and cried and hide in my room,i was very afraid.....last time i was not like tis,i didnt cried at all when he choked a fish bone.just abit apprehensive
i saw a old lady vomit on the floor past few days,which i feel very disgusting and tis had been distracting me everynight..,i walked past a friend who once backstab me,suddenly unnecessarily fear come to me...... ..i dun knw wats going on with me..i need help seriously,i do have commit sucicide thoughts..
whenever i feel hopeless,i feel like taking my key and cut my hand....

Ever since my twins were born I swear I keep seeing someone out of the corner of my eye, or shadows in the doorway of their room. I don't feel afraid but a little crazy. I haven't told ANYONE this.

I lit a candle in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe last night and asked for two of my most beloved people to make up and also for one of them to find a job. Today she found a job and they did make up the same night I prayed for them. Tell me about your miracles, if you have not experienced any, then you might try praying, it works.

How come the Bible says God is good and Satan is evil where there are many accounts of God commanding things like murder, rape and slavery, and absolutely no accounts of Satan doing anything evil? I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just want to know why we claim over and over that God is good and the devil is bad when their acts in the bible say otherwise.

for the last 5 months i have had the worst writer's block ever!lines just started flowing through my head i immediantly grabbed a pen, but lost most of what i thought up. i kinda just threw this together & ive gotten this far & am stuck again, but please tell me what U think, i know its VERY rough..

After all, Windows is very similar to our world......it was designed by a bunch of idiot designers, it often breaks, is energy-inefficient, requires prayer to make it work, has a ton of code that doesn't make any sense, has a great deal of conflicting components, and the system will eventually die.

I know that this is commonly asked, but consider if you were taken hostage along with others in a building. The shooter says that people who are (enter your faith here) must stay, but everyone else can leave.
Personally I would leave. Why would I die to prove my faith to a lunatic? My deity knows my devotion, and that is enough for me. And I think that my loving deity would want me to live.
Would you stay or leave, and for what reasons?

I live in an Islamic state and my neighbours are Christians, Buddihst and Hindus. They have never been forced to convert and none of them have ever been killed. They don't even have to pay any special taxes.
