Definitely! And by most of the answers you've received so far, it makes it even more clear. Jesus said it would be as it was in Noah's day, which is talked about in verses 37-39. People are not taking any "note," they're not paying attention to what's going on around them. Everyday it becomes more apparent that these are the Last Days, but everyone is too busy trying to please themselves and they're giving nothing back to God who created them. It's sad really, but there will be no stopping God's day of vengeance. (Isaiah 55:11) And when it comes, there will be plenty of people who'd wished they'd have payed a tiny bit of closer attention to Bible prophecy.

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (1 John 2:18)
It has been the last days for about 2000 years.

i believe what Jesus is referring to in the passage you're talking about has already happened. i think there's a lot of proof that he was referring to the fall of the Roman Empire. some of the specific things mentioned in the beginning of the chapter, if you look at historical records, happened during the fall.
can't explain everything, but if we knew everything, what would be the point of faith? "blessed is he who believes but does not see"
trust in Him.

It's about a thousand years late. Satan was to be in a lake of fire for 1,000 years, a thousand years was a thousand years ago. How many thousands of years are you willing to wait before you decide it's not going to happen?

My guess is no, since Jesus also stated he'd return during the lifetime of his apostles.

We will be in our last days if an asteroid or comet hits the earth. The stuff in that book is junk.
