Jesus cursed the money-changers.

And he said "Its easier for a camel to pass thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to pass into heaven."

Who would the "rich man" be in today's world?

Seems to me that the answer to both questions is Bush's "have-mores" ironically-Christian, base.

Who do you think the money-changers and rich men are in today's world??

Those of all faiths, but especially Christians, will you at least give Buddhism a try? So peaceful, so calm. Buddhism can help you find your true inner you. You will become enlightened from within. Will you try it out?

If not, why not?

Tony Campolo is a very popular evangelist and author and he said in a recent interview: Over the last few years I've become increasingly uncomfortable with my fellow evangelical Christians because they refuse to face the fact that in the overwhelming number of cases homosexuals do not change no matter hard they pray. I always emphasize that there are exceptions. But can people be prayed out of Alzheimer's disease? Of course, they can. Do you know anybody who has? I don't. The fact that God can do anything should not be questioned, but to say that you can pray yourself out of homosexuality creates a real problem. Many parents end up being alienated from their own children who are homosexual because they believe that if their kids would just get serious and pray about this they would be delivered. I could give you heart-breaking stories, of boys in particular, who cannot go home and see their parents because their parents say, "Until you repent and pray for God to change you cant come

A basic tenet of Christianity (esp. Catholicism) is that the body (flesh) will be resurrected when Jesus comes again. If I die when I'm 92 - do I have to have that wrinkly old and generally not-so-great body in heaven for all of eternity or can I go back to the body I had when I was 18???

God is a loving God. He sent His only Son to die on a cross for our sins in place of us. You know why, because the lawful punishment for sin in those days was death. So Jesus faithfully gave His life instead. God loves you so much and I encourage you to test Him. He will prove worthy of your love as well. I promise, but can you...not will you but can you?

I've often doubt my beliefs, and I continue to question them.

Do you question or doubt your beliefs at times?

I'd be grateful if you could also let me know what religion you class yourself as.

Human beings are fallible creatures. There is no possible way we can ever know everything. There is no possible way we can ever know the complete Truth of existence.

Whatever your beliefs are, you are entitled to them, and welcome. But, whatever your beliefs are, do you have the strength and honesty to admit that there is a possibility that your beliefs are wrong?
