When the rapture happens and everyone is taken to heaven...
I will go to heaven too because I was saved years ago. Once saved, always saved. It's a nice little loophole in God's rules that allows me the 'benefits' of salvation without having to obey or even believe in any of the christian rules and teachings. And when I get to heaven I will join forces with all of the like-minded individuals and take over heaven. All of the dead christians will be dropped from the clouds and piled up in front of hell. The sinners in hell will then be able to climb upon this pile and then up the ladder I make out of the pearly gates. At that point we will start the real celebration.
Who am I kidding? The end times have been going on since long before you and I were born. It will still be the end times after we both die, and the rapture will still be right around the corner.
But I must admit the idea of a world without Christians does sound quite delightful... except for the fact that the Christians are the one strong force saving America from being overrun by leftards.

The RAPTURE??? you actually BELIEVE that nutso B.S.??! Lol-diddly-LOL-lol! Heh-heh! What about all the "God-fearing", Christian Mafiosi, who go to Church and confess regularly? Is "god" gonna forgive THEM for icing whoever they don't like? (Hmm...I sure HOPE so!).
MAN, this is a GREAT topic! (but, DON'T EVEN say the Mafia aren't "xtian" 'cause they're Catholics---we INVENTED Xtianity (sorry about that, my fellow atheists! I have NO idea which lame-a$$ Roman Emperor thought up THAT idea....and if I DID, I'd plug him).
Anyway, if there IS gonna be a "Rapture", I think it will come about the same time as that huge "Ice Age" they predicted, triggered by Global Warming, and then, all you punk, Republicans will have to KISS AL GORE'S A$$ if you wanna get into "heaven" (in which I do NOT believe).
So I'm opting for the option (mentioned by somebody above, with more imagination than ME) of taking over some "Raptured Fundy's" Beverly Hills mansion. I was gonna do that anyway. Now I don't have to get rid of any "evidence"! HEH-heh-heh-heh....!
'Ey! Keep the batso questions coming! It's better than the crossword puzzle.

We are talking different languages here.
I can't accept Jesus because he doesn't exist.
Nobody is going to Heaven because there is no such place.
There is no God so there will be no Rapture.
The "prophecies" are millennia-old myths which are open to any interpretation you want.
This is what I and all other atheists believe. We believe this as strongly as you believe in your God, Jesus, prophesies and Rapture, So what you say is total nonsense to us. Literally. However seriously you mean it, you may as well be talking to us about the tooth fairy.
Does this make things clearer?

Lol, what about the people who go to heaven and have atheist relatives? Will they miss them as well or will they just turn the other cheek and forget they exist? And what about the people that have relatives going to hell? How can you be happy in heaven if you have family members in hell burning for all eternity? Can you really be happy like that? So Christians wont miss their loved ones when they go to heaven? They sound like pretty cold hearted people. Your idea of heaven and god is flawed. But of course you will not listen because you only hear what you wanna hear. Stop trying to recruit people like an army representative and let people live their lives in peace.

My family is Atheist, so no. My friends are Atheist, so no.
You mean all the christians are going to be raptured? Good good, we will have the earth to ourselves? Good. Don't bother feeling sorry for this Atheist, I think the world will be a better place once you whiny christians are gone.
America could dissapear from the map for all I care. They are a hindrance as far as moving into the modern century.

What prophecy is being fulfilled? Revelations? You mean the code book for christians about Nero? That's not a prophecy, that's history...big difference.
What will I do? Sit here and wonder how many generations are going to predict this same thing...even though it never seems to come to pass...

I'll pack my *** up and move on up like George and Weezy to a phat Beverly Hills mansion that some raptured Christian millionaire vacated.
Swimming pools, movie stars.

Oh I accept Jesus just fine, just not your mythological version of him. Your concept of an omnipotent creator being is illogical thereby tossing your whole "rapture" theory in the file 13 and my friends and family don't subscribe to your version of reality either.

It's easy to take any period in history and point to signs and prophecies that show 'the end is near'. What about the time of the black plague, for example? The Rapture isn't going to happen.

If.
As the Laconians said.
"If."
I'll repent and accept Jesus when I'm convinced of the truth of Christianity. You wouldn't want me to lie, or believe a lie, would you?
