If you can track down someone who actually knows what Jesus really looked like, that question could be answered. Since we can only guess, I'd say no. He's not appearing on food.

I honestly think that people just want to see images of Jesus, Mary and other religious icons in there food. why? not really sure why! maybe it helps them reassure themselves that the God they pray to is real. now they have some sort of physical evidence.
