Will the people who are in Hell now get a brief break or interruption from their suffering on Judgement Day while they are being judged by God and before they are cast into the Lake of Fire?

He loves you with all his meatballs and sent his son Uncle Pasta to die for our sins. Why don't you reciprocate his love?
Furthermore, why won't you allow the Theory of Intelligent Pasta, the Belief that we are really all giant pieces of the Pasta placed here on this giant plate we call earth?

Why won't you allow this grand theory on why we exist to be taught? It even tells us how we were created; we were once all Pasta who lived in the Garden of Johnny Carino's but then we stopped loving FSM and he kicked us out.

Why won't you love the mighty FSM?

okay i really need help.
technically im a christian. i was raised in a christian household ( im only 13) and like i constantly think, am i a christian or not?
when i think things like this i remember when i was in childrens church and i say in my head "god forgive me" so i guess i believe in god.
but i mean i dont know how to get to know god and jesus better. i mean i pray before dinner every night and before big tests and hard situations but thats its.
i dont sing in church though but thats because my singing voice can pretty much break glass.
im hoping its just that im in a stage were i dont want people making fun of me.

btw.. my mom pushes my sister (17) to go to youth group but we kinda feel akward there since we dont know anyone and i dont know if im just rebelling.
i am a good kid. i dont sneak around or do anything bad and i just dont kno why i have this resistance to god.
please help me.
thank you
xoxo jordan

The quote " To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible ". A quote from a person who lived in the 1200's.

Your thoughts on the words expressed in this quote ?

I'm Spiritual...not of any church, relition, temple and respecting of all beliefs and paths that any person is on.

I recently read of the above quote and wondering your thought.

I'm thinking that the person is speaking of the sleep / dream state. What are our dreams about? The messages and connection in that sleep state ?

Quote is of Edward Young...1683 - 1765

and what about praying to Mary and saints?

I , a Muslims, believe we should worship and pray to God only. not to his not to his creatures .. that's what the 1st commandment all about.

The Old Testament would be a great guide book if you suddenly woke up in the middle of the desert 3,000 years ago surrounded by goat herders, but it doesn't really address people who aren't inclined to stone their own daughters to death for not bleeding on their wedding night. There is no chapter in Deuteronomy with instructions for Soccer Moms.

The New Testament might be useful if you suddenly woke up in the middle of a Jewish rebellion against the Roman Empire circa 67 AD, but does it really have any useful information for dealing with a Global Economy? Aside from telling you that all of those people out there are evil and probably pawns of the Anti-Christ? What will happen to your religion when the earth is still here in 500-1000 years. Won't you look just as ignorant and stupid as the people who thought the world was going to end back in 999 AD?

I just asked a question where I mentioned how the Aids epidemic in Africa was spread in part by the Roman Catholic church. As a response many catholics attacked the Africans for having sex before marriage and blaming them for their problems.

It is very easy to say "if only Africa followed our ridiculous guidelines that go against human nature aids would never exist".

The problem with the catholic faith is not that they spread their religion. That is fine everyone has the right to do that but they deny Africans condoms and other contraceptives that would save lives.

Catholics would rather let someone get aids and eventually die a miserable life than kill some sperm.

Catholics would rather have an unwanted child be born a burden to his family than never be born at all.

The reason I am angry is because there were a few charity organizations here in Toronto raising funds to give condoms to Africa and the Catholics prevented them from doing that.

..... all the others who claimed they were sons of gods? Alexander the Great, Augustus Caesar et al, or any of the Egyptian Pharoahs all claimed divinity. Why is Western civilization pre-occupied with praying to Jesus and not praying to Marcus Aurelius (A.D. 161-180). He was also a great leader and considered to be a very wise philosopher .

Or perhaps "we" should be worshipping Cleopatra?

I am getting married this summer to a muslim and although I am christian and do not intend to change my religion I would like to know more about his on my own. I've found books on the subject but they are written either by christians or ex-muslims and I want an unbiased viewpoint.

I have been looking at filling my life with something I'm missing. That is religion, (I am sure of this) but now I'm in the situation of which one? I have researched some but am still no closer to an answer. Which one is right? If I get it wrong am I buggered for the "afterlife"? And if that is the case then what I believe in now is against "god" or Who ever is in charge up there. My question is that - If you have chosen a religion in adult life how did you know it to be the right choice? What are the differences? and how did you choose?

I heard this question on another site and was wanting to get some reactions from you:

" i'm a converted jew and i converted to reconstructionist judaism. but i converted by myself doing my own service and bar mitzvah without a rabbi. the reason for this is becuase every rabbi has told me that i can not convert without being circumcised but i'm happy the way i am. i don't believe i have to mark myself to join a religous order. i think its the belief and spiritualality of the person that makes his covernent with the divine force, not cutting his penis. anyway, i want to know what you guys think.

looking forward to your comments,
shalom to you all and bless be."

Now I don't want any soapbox crouchers coming in here and yelling about how circumcision is evil and stupid things like that. What do you guys think about what this person said?
