Along with his native German, Benedict speaks fluent Italian, French, English, Spanish and Latin. He can read ancient Greek and biblical Hebrew.
Benedict plays the piano and has a preference for Mozart and Beethoven.

Joseph Ratzinger - Benedict XVI.
He joined the Hitler youth and a lot of people want to condemn him for that, but I cannot really understand why, as he had no choice. If you had been 14 in Germany in 1941 you would have no choice either. Having no choice doesn't make him a Nazi.
In my opinion, he seems to be turning out to be quite a good Pope.
