..... all the others who claimed they were sons of gods? Alexander the Great, Augustus Caesar et al, or any of the Egyptian Pharoahs all claimed divinity. Why is Western civilization pre-occupied with praying to Jesus and not praying to Marcus Aurelius (A.D. 161-180). He was also a great leader and considered to be a very wise philosopher .

Or perhaps "we" should be worshipping Cleopatra?

All have their purpose and message. Some messages are just heard more widely than others. Jesus Christ, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Marcus Aurelius, a smaller voice heard by only a few . . . all awaken the souls and hearts to increased awareness and enlightenment. I believe that Jesus Christ was / is of precious increased purpose and Light. . . yet all have the message to be heard for enlightenment.

The words of philosophers I find to be of great insight for soulful growth. . . . Even shared words of some lesser known as John A. Shedd . . . " A ship in a harbor is safe - - but that is not what ships are for ".

Questions are asked, words are expressed, shared...thus awareness grows.
.
I agree with what you shared. Some are of greater light than others...yet all have a voice to be heard...Some of those ' voices ' stream the light of enlightenment more than others.

Alexander the Great, Augustus Caesar, and the Egyptian Paraohs have never been the Sons of God who claims the same to Jesus. Those people you mentioned become the Sons of God by their own megalomaniac claim because of their ability to control people below them.
Like Adam (if you will look at the Genealogy of Jesus) he was called Son of God thus made his descendants called Sons of God (Genesis in time of Noah). Contrary to the claim by the idiot teachers that the Sons of God were angels that took human form to marry the "Daughters of men."
God enlightened Adam about the Singularity of God, a reason why Israel from the beginning of time was already a Monotheistic nation. People before Adam were Poletheists predominantly. To be called Son of God does not mean he is being given special privilege or favor more than the rest of the people of the world. God was just simply choosing him to do a mission. A reason why those who disobeyed Him were not able to reach what God promised him to be. Moses for example was not allowed to bring the Jews inside the land of promise because there was incident that he showed a little faith in God's instruction to him.
Jesus must have been saved the same way as Elijah had he not made a grave mistake on the law that is the sign for generations between God and Israel. One reason why Jesus was saying "My God, My God! why has thou forsaken me?" because in his thought he will be scoop up in time so he can't die.
His death and ressurection were purely the devil's deception and a reason why our faith have been so divided.
Jesus is never truly begotten son of God and that is the biggest blasphemy the world have been committing.

I think the only thing that seperates Jesus of Nazerath from the rest of the loons who claim divine lineage is the fable of resurrection.

The idea that Jesus died for our sins (whatever...) and then rised from the dead three days later and ascended into heaven seperates this character from all the other megalomaniacs who demanded attention.

Of course, you could say that the pharoahs also rised from the dead and ruled in the afterlife, but since Christianity is the dominant religion with respect to kemeticism (egyptian religion), it comes down to numbers..

Basically, Christianity has duped far more people into believing a ridiculous story than any of the others you mentioned. So many people that Jesus of Nazerath takes a pre-eminant spot in the egotistical "sons of God" in all their varying forms...

JESUS was son of GOD.All others who claim to be sons of gods have been born in flesh on the strength of flesh.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

This has been outfitted upon, it has created an industry of religions. God isn't human, nor a being. No being ought to create the universe. image voltaic structures, galaxies, etc. yet to respond to the question, the place did this all start up, guy has created a god.

First off, we are not supposed to pray to Jesus, you pray "through" Jesus, he is the mediator between mankind and God. Second all those who claimed to be sons of God were full of it. And third Marcus Aurelius, Alexander the Great, etc. were not anything heavenly and were not in the same category as Jesus Christ or God, they were mere men.

As a part of western civilisation, you can feel free to worship any son of God you choose. Don't let us Christians stop you. We chose Jesus Christ because he lives. All the others are dead, but do what you want.
