Where are the representatives of other religions? I'd really like to see more questions and answers from people of other faiths too. Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, Lukumi, Taoists etc. Why is this place so focused on Christianity?

many, many people will be shocked when they are turned away from the gates of Heaven. What do you think this means. What People?

God's Word says....

(Psalms 98:2-3) Jehovah has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has unveiled to the eyes of the nations.

(Psa 98:3) He has remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of Jehovah.

AND.....

(Romans 1:18-19-20) For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

(Rom 1:19) because the thing which may be known of God is clearly revealed within them, for God revealed it to them.

(Rom 1:20) For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.

HOW..... Can Anyone say, " I don't know about or ever if there is a God that created all?"

Will anyone have, "An Excuse before GOD?"

Thanks, RR

how do you explain near death experiences? When people can tell you exactly what and who they saw? What they felt and what it was like? Please do not give me the whole lack of oxygen thing. I have worked in the medical field for a very long time and can tell you, I have seen things that just CANNOT be explained by man or science.

Why do Catholics worship and pray to Mary? God said, "Have no idols before me."

Have you ever had a prayer answered? If so, did God change his plans based upon your prayer, or would the result have been the same anyways (according to God's will, if you like)?

Example: You're daughter is sick, and you pray for her to get well. Eventually, she does. Does this mean that God would have let her remain sick or even die had you not prayed, or does it mean that she would have recovered anyways?

I'm not denying God's involvement in the outcome (that's a different arguement)...I'm just asking does our prayer change God's plans? If so, don't you find that belief a bit egotistical? If not, then how can you claim your prayers have been answered?

I hate to break it to everyone..but we don't believe Satan exists. To name an evil is to create it. Pure evil upsets the balance of the universe. We don't believe in hell either. So why am I always accused of worshipping Satan? Does that mean Allah is Satan too?

prepared, or at least respecting what the Catholic Church says about having the FIRST COMMUNION? He does NOT understand that there are certain rules and as every Institution, should be followed and above all, respected. He did not listen to me, he went to the Communion without being ready to do so and told me that anybody can take Jesus home and offer Communion. It was for nothing to tell him about this and he says I am the blind one and that he knows better then most people do. Now, tell me.....what would you have done when a person just doesn't listen or respect your own beliefs?
Please, no jokes or judgement. This is a very serious issue.

If not... Eph 4:11-14. Christ's church still needs: Apostles and Prophets. Heb 5:4 No prophet or apostle can proclaim himself, he must b called of God... and that means he must be ordained by those in authority.

If yes... Which unity is the true unity?

I am in no way trying to be sarcastic or anything like that, I just really want to gain more insight from someone who might know more about this than me.

When people(including me) say that his will is going to be done no matter what, like predestination, then how is it possible to go against that? Im not saying that I want to, I was just wondering what is included in his will.

For example(once again, just hypothetical, please dont get mad at me), was it in his will for 9-11, va tech, poverty, andeverything else that goes on? I do believe that good comes out of everything and that he shows us things in different ways, but why do we pray for someone to stay alive for instance, if it was in his will for them to die. Are we praying that his will NOT be done or what?

When I pray at night(or any other time of day) I always say that I pray that his Will be done. Am I praying for my own downfall?

THIS IS A LEGITIMATE QUESTION, LEGITIMATE ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.

Upside : He brought joy to countless fans around the world through his music, and created a sense of community among Deadheads that has begun to evaporate over time.

Downside : He was a known drug addict, and while not listed as an official cause on his death certificate, drugs most likely expedited his demise.

I have no idea what his religious affiliation was, but he struck me as the type who *would* have believed in a god.

Jayelle posted a question earlier tonight that inspired this question.

These are the two options we have for teaching our children about the theoretical origin of life. Evolution is an observable fact but, as the logically challenged people keep reminding us, it is still "just a theory" but only because of some scientific terminology. So here we have something that can be proved being called a theory but the alternative, that requires faith without evidence and cannot possibly be proved isn't called a theory. What gives?

Christ says is wrong to judge & condemn others--Paul says go for it.Paul says you are "saved" if you confess Christ with your tongue--Christ said "calling me Lord,Lord" means nothing.Paul says you should shave off a Christian womens hair if she refuses to wear a veil covering her head.Christ made no comment about womens fashions.--etc--etc (1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with
her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as
if she were shaven.
11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn)

I've seen something very similar to this in Orlando. The Onion's funny because it contains a bit of truth. :-)

Do the 50 million Germans resent this statement ?

Do Christians just disown anybody who might make Christianity look violent ?

If a mass murderer shoots somebody, do all the Christians automatically excommunicate him and declare he "was never a Christian" ?

Does that somehow help them to convince themselves that they are the most peaceful people to walk the face of the earth ?

Very very curious and wondering what psyche produces this attitude...

Thanks for replying.
