anyone who rejected Christ: following another [idol, "diety" or ideology], giving it up or actually [continually] resisting Christ. Anyone who sought truth, but didn't accept it because it didn't appeal to their lusts.

God reward those who diligently seek Him: technically a person who searched for God but never heard of who He actually was, can make it. Technically someone who sought God and died searching can make it. technically those who tried to find a way out of their religion in order to serve God, but couldn't, have a chnace (I don't mean "my parents would disapprove", I mean more like they're killed when they are discovered as no longer tied to that religion, or that they knew no other way of serving God except through piety). Sometimes God even reveals Himself or shows you the way miraculously.

It's a reference to people who trusted in their own self-righteousness as expressed through a doctrine of works based salvation instead of trusting in the finished work of Christ Jesus alone.

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

In this parable you see a man who thought his own righteous acts were good enough and so he didn't take the offered wedding garment of Jesus' righteousness.

Matthew 22:8-14 Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. 9 Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.' 10 And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11 "But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 14 For many are called, but few are chosen."

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

It means that Jesus and the boys have gone ahead and electrified the gates of heaven.
They are trying to keep the Evangelists out. They don't want to hear the BS either.

it means that these people claim to have a relationship with the Savior but truly don't have one, Rev 21 at the end of it speaks of the judgment seat of God. All will be judged, maybe it's on that day?

well for that to happen god would have to exist and i dont think he does so im not going to lose any sleep over it. Anyways i believe it means that the people who have done evil in their lives will be denied the benefits of eternal salvation....essentially its a load of hocus pocus designed to scare you into going to church and paying the dues...alright maybe that's a little cynical. How 'bout, its a way for the religous groups to play off of your fear of eternal damnation to get you to follow their code of beliefs.

A lot of people who say they are Christians aren't. They sin, say sorry, they sin, say sorry, they sin, say sorry, and the sin is the same one. They live a life of hypocracy and well, that's not good.
