What you can do to ensure your supporting the right team is making sure the right team is supporting you! What ever makes you happy and can be mixed into everyday living and it is right for you ... that is the right one to go by...Everyone is gonna think what they think is the best.. so you just have to read and believe.. as long as you have hope and as long as you have faith.. you can put everything you believe into a rock.. and if it works for you then so be it. Do what you feel is comfortable for you! May the path you chose be lighted all the way! BB!

You can not find an answer from anyone following the mainstream religions because they have one thing in common. They all will tell you everyone but their religion is wrong. If you get suckered by that and join a main stream religion, then, you have to chose amongst their warring sects.
It's best to study all religions and find a path for yourself....Become a seeker, not a follower.

There is an actual test you can conduct.
1. Seek God with all your heart. The Old Testament says you will find Him.
2. Sincerely seek to do God's will. Ask God to show you His will and do it.
3. Repent of your sins. They get in your way.
If you do the first three steps and God fails to make Himself known to you, I will not question your sincerity or tell you that you didn't do it right. That is a matter between you and God. Christ taught that He was the only way, so take Him up on it. Don't be pushy, bossy and demanding, just ask for an honest demonstration of what he wants from you, then try to do it and see what happens.

It's not a matter of being on the "right side", or "winning" some "battle"... that's dichotomous thinking, and such thinking gets you into black-and-white, no-grey-options psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual problems. It's more important to ensure soul-satisfaction than other-satisfaction. Eh?

there shouldn't be teams. That happens only when politicians are involved. There are too many similarities between religions. All have the same goal, to be with God in the end...not to just be on the winning team.

There is no way to know that any religions ideas are correct.
Looks like a lottery game to me. Pick a religion like you pick a scratch off ticket. You may win but more then likely you will lose.
Wouldn't it be a little funny if we all find out the corrdct religion was Odinism! Very few even know what that is!
It would make me laugh!

You do what makes you a better person.
If your particular beliefs (religious or otherwise) help you be a better person, then you should be fine as far as whatever happens in life or after, from a moral standpoint.
I mean, every religion says it's the ONLY way...they can't all be right.

Because the bible tells me I'm right and all the birds in the sky say I'm right and the guy down by the car wash with three teeth tells me I'm right. And I failed grade four math and the only thing lower than my IQ is my shoe size and I ramble on for no reason. Hey, I'm a christian.

I support the right team because our worldwide brother hood are united in love and will NOT for any reason go to war to kill any human of any race. We are all descendants of Adam & Eve aren't we? We are all descendents of Noah, aren't we? We follow Christ Jesus as our redeemer and live as best to our ability considering we are born from sin and share the good news of God's Kingdom which Jesus did that will end the oppressed state of Satan's world. there is no team. some people believe that there way is the only way. the only way is thru jesus. in matthew 7: 7 ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened to you, everyone who asks receives. so i say pray and you will get you answer .
