Given that all religions say they are the one true faith. It is reasonable to assume there will be an awful lot of disappointed people when they die!! Will the muslims, christians, Buddhists or Hindus be smiling?/

This article was recently brought to my attention.

Why do people fear those that are different? Be it religion, race, sexual orientation, or butt size, why is it still okay to judge other people that we don't even know?

Atheists Hated More than Gays, Muslims, All Other Groups
Atheists are hated more than any other group in America. Surprised? Atheists know this very well, but a recent survey conducted by the University of Minnesota has provided new evidence of it. According to most of those surveyed, atheists fall below Muslims, gays, and every other minority group when it comes to "sharing their vision of American society."

This won’t be a surprise to any atheists in America. Atheists aren’t tolerated in a wide array of contexts and there are many examples where bigotry or discrimination towards are atheists in contexts where similar behavior towards Jews or blacks would be unequivocally condemned.

Why are we perceived as a threat to the American way of life? There is just one thing that is common to all atheists: we don’t accept the common belief that some sort of god exists. Thus, the only thing that can be identified as “atheistic” is the failure to go along with the same beliefs as everyone else. For varying reasons, atheists are dissenters from popular beliefs. This would means that dissent, disagreement, and individualism are perceived as threats to the American way of life.

My parents were both Christians and they tried to brainwash me to believe in what they believe in. I was brainwashed for a little while. I believed in Jesus and God when I was little, then I fiigured out my parents were just trying to lie to me. People told me that God and Jesus were not real and I believed them. I have seen many websites which have convinced me that God and Jesus were not real. There is no evidence that Jesus and God were real. What's funny is most people believe in what their parents believe in, but I don't.

John 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
It should be:
Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is Mine, and my Father's.

Joh 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.
It should be:
Jesus said to them, "My food is to do My will which is also my Father's will , and to accomplish Our work.

Mt 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
It should be:
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but Me and My Father only.

There are many verses like the above where Jesus is telling everybody that he and God are different and he Does Not Belong to the so called Godhead or Trinity. If he was God, wouldnt the verses be like the above. Would anyone dare to question the Christians as they could proudly point to the verses and show.
But, it is NOT to be cos Jesus is NOT GOD !

I mean think about it. We take antibiotics when we're REALLY sick right? In some cases we take antibiotics to save our lives. But doesn't this count as cheating god? He wouldn't have made you deathly ill just for the heck of it, right? It's a part of his master plan. So when you take antibiotics doesn't that interfere with his plan and thus you are cheating? Please explain this to me, I'm very confused.

i personally HATE religion with all my HEART and think is one of the ROOTS OF ALL EVIL why?
that because its the reason for WAR
like Judaism say god only loves them and the rest of us will go to HELL
and Buddhism a bit more peaceful but i still HATE it-why? because they think left-handed people are EVIL (that nice well im handed)
and oh lets not for get about Christianity they also think left-handed EVIL and works for the devil back then. back then they sent tones of missionary around the world to what CONVERT people to BELIEVE in their religion. heres anther question to think about did you think they really cared about the people that they were helping-i dont think so, like the natives of Brazil it looked like they were trying to protect them from the slave hunters but noticed that after a wile none of them are believing so they find them no longer useful to them so the dam missionaries handed them over to the slave hunters (what do i think now????)

If my girlfriend would leave me, what would be a more loving thing for me to do?

1) Hope she will never find a guy again, and also hope her house burns down, and hope she will die a tragic death

I have read some answers where some of you think we are supposed to have complete faith in our leaders because you feel they are appointed by God. For those of you that think this, I have some questions for you.
1. Do you get nasty with women who have abortions, or people who are in favor with it? It is legal to have abortions. Our government allows it.

2. If you had lived in Germany during WW2, would you have tried to save any Jewish people? Would you have hidden anyone? This would have been against the leaders.

He was one guy who like thousands back then, got crucified. The people back then decided they wanted to write a myth book (the Bible) about Jesus and make him seem like a God. They claim there were over 500 eyewitness accounts of his ressurection, but I will never believe that. He had a human father. It is scientifically impossible for someone to be born without a human father. He did not have any god like powers. He was a carpenter. Period. He is not our savior or the son of God. Christians fail to realize that Jesus was just an invention copied from paganism. Almost all Christianity comes from wither Judaism or paganism. And Jesus didn't rise fromt he dead. He died on the cross and that's the end of the story.

Just thought you may want to rethink the roots of the abortion issue that has been soo talked about on here lately!
That if you believe the life starts at conception, taking the pill is also murder?
The pill is only effective because it creats a fertilised egg unable to connect to the lining of the womb, because it makes the womb a hostile enviroment for it to embrace the living fetus!
Similar with the 'The Morning after Pill'.
