I have picked up several books on Evolution. They all tend to begin with .....Once upon a time 4.8 billion years ago....

Then the book goes on to say....life appeared on earth 3 billions years ago....

I wonder how these folks come up with those dates? Then it goes on with theories about how life began, the problem is that the theories cannot be duplicated in labs. In other words life does not spontaneously appear from dead matter.

So far every book I have read about evolution talks about the billions of years and that life appeard from no thing which is all bogus.

How did the theory of Evolution end up in science classes all over the world? Was it just to erase God from our minds?

Not from another person, but a spirtual one? Not to sound to corny, but just a sign from God that everything's going to be OK? Sometimes I just get so exhausted from hateful people and life in general. Is it so much to ask?

If I recall the Bible, did Jesus descend into Hell after He was resurrected or was it at a different time? If He did go into Hell, is it known why He did and what did He do there? Serious answers please.

Islam means the "voluntary submission to the Will of Allah" and it is a word derived from salam which means peace.

The test on this earth is whether we will recognize the oneness of God and then submit ourselves voluntarily to his commands.

In Islam.... if anyone is forced to submit - then their test is NULL and VOID.

They did not chose VOLUNTARILY so their conversion is VOIDED.

However, if anyone claims to be a Muslim then they have made a covenant to follow the rules and regulations. Just like when we enter into a country we follow all the laws, not just the ones we like. Anything less would lead to chaos and anarchy.


If a Muslim forces ANYONE to convert to Islam then they are sinning and their effort is NULL and VOID in any Shariah court on earth.

To force anyone to convert would in fact render that Muslim to punishment in this life and the next.

So now we have a Complete Law and Book for those who believe God would not leave them in the dark with texts that have been retranslated, changed, edited and revised.

For me, the bible had way too many contradictions in it that I just couldn't get past. That's my own reason though, and I don't feel that everyone should believe the same as I do. How else would there be variety in the world? This site shows a lot of reason why many have converted. Please, have an open mind. The answer is No. human wrote them. and as for the new testimonial was actually written quite a whille affter Jesus died. I belive in god. but i dont belive every thing what the bible or the quran says, for it was written by mere mortal whom claim to convert gods word into writing. doesnt this mean we worship these authors?

wouldnt god be upset if the words written in the BOOK was mis intrepert the wrong way?

I mean muslim, christian, and jews are originaly came from the same god. and now they are all fighting. clearly if these religions came from the same god, god is surely not happy. tell me what u think.

im not very religious but i belive in god.... yet iv traveled all over the world a kneeled infront of other gods and belive that they are there as well..... i also somtimes feel sorry for lucifer ....and in my past i declared myself wiccan and talked to other beings,,, i know all this is wrong (according to the bible) but, i cant change what i feel in my heart ...so what do i do .... ???

If the Bible says he is a son then it is impossible to call the second son "his only son".

The only way to call Isaac "his only son" is to deny Ishmael was a son at all.

That is why Arabian history tells of Ishmael and Abraham being tested by God and a sacrificial animal was substituted.

That is why Muslims in the Hajj sacrifice an animal and commemorate Abrahams willingness to sacrifice his first born son....his only son before the birth of the Isaac.

The only way Isaac could be called the "only son" is to insert verses into the bible to cut Ishmael out of the family no matter how racist or cruel it may look !!

In fact a proof that the story of Ishmael teasing baby Isaac is fabricated is the fact that Ishmael and Hagar were sent into the desert by God when Ishmael was an infant not a 18 year old man who could carry his mother on his shoulder instead of her carrying him as the bible says !!

I have a friend who posted earlier that she is having thoughts of suicide. She has MS and has lost her dad, her ex husband (baby's daddy), and her boyfriend. She has known unspeakable pain in her very young age of 30 years. Tonight she feels very alone and is having a flare. She currently is unable to move her legs. I have known her for many years and though her life has had many blessings in it in the time I've known her it seems each one always carries a tremendous cost to her. I have known quite a few religious people and athiest people and for the most part both sides of the coin co-exist quite happily.

The athiest don't wish to 'hear' about god and the religious people respect that and don't talk about god around them. In return the atheists do not attempt to 'turn' the religious away from god. And all are happy, this system works well.

However there are others, these ones who I am referring to attack those who are different from them with words and sometimes violence while viewing their 'evil acts' as doing good.

For example I answered a question a while ago and the response received from the asker was that all who believe in god(s) are brainwashed mindless idiots (that is the clean version.

While on the flip side there are those on the side of religion who attack those of different religions and non-believers by saying that they are arrogant and defying of god and that they will be punished by hell fire. This has even lead to violence, the religious racism of the US and other places is a good example.

My question is,
For the Atheists:
Do those who do not believe in god and attack others for their beliefs, are they so unsure of themselves and their position that they feel they must attack verbally and physically others? Or do they feel so threatened by others expressing their faith that they cannot control themselves?

For the Religious:
And those that do believe in god that attack others positions verbally and physically. Do they honestly believe that they are doing god’s work, is it not said that you MUST love thy neighbour? How is attacking others and telling them that they will burn in hell fire for all eternity going to help them to see the light? And are you saying that you are equal to god in his ability to judge others, isn’t that blasphemy?

Serious answers only please.
