I am 31 and not yet married. What do you suggest? How could I leave the world a better place?

Fly a plane into a tower? Missionary? Bomb the Vatican?
Work to feed the hungry? Stay in the Western world, become rich and donate lots of money???

Please state your belief and your opinion on this.

Blessings
David

Our Almighty God can do ANYTHING.There is NOTHING that He is incapable of.

WITHOUT scriptural references, and using your OWN logic and reasoning..... please answer this question:

Do you feel that our GOD is INCAPABLE of being three separate persons at one time?

I have a bumpersticker that reads: "Against Abortion? Then Don't Have One!" I just cited this as one example. This question is NOT about abortion!! It is about whether you feel it is right to FORCE others to do something, or not do something simply because the majority believes it's right! No matter what the issue is!!

It appears that from investigation, and documation that only 7 people that were not from the Bible said that such a man claimed even existed. So if Jesus has so many followers, then why weren't there more witnesses then 7 ? I think Jesus was more of moral teachings then the actual man himself.

Whatever Faith, Religion or Non-religion that you practice...(and this is based on some of the hateful views I have seen all around for other people, be it Atheist's of Christian's or vise versa) how would you feel if your child grew up to believe something you do not?
I myself am Christian and believe my son will have to make a decision on his own. I will tell him my views and allow him to discover other faith's and love him regardless.
But my question was brought on after reading people's answers like "All Christians are idiots"...or..."Atheists are lazy" etc etc....so if you child was one or the other..would you consider them in this light as well?

hope the question made sense

The Bible is so repulsive that it has no place in a modern, civilized society.

Example 1

The vast majority of Americans believe that God exists, that Jesus is his son, and that God himself gave us the Bible and the Ten Commandments. In fact, Supreme court Justice Antonin Scalia has said that "Ninety-nine percent of Americans believe in the ten commandments." He has also said, "What the commandments stand for is the direction of human affairs by God."

If 99% of Americans believe in the ten commandments, how can the Bible be repulsive? Let's take the fourth commandment as an example. It says:

Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. For six days you shall labour and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. [Exodus 20: 8-9]

This, supposedly, is the word of God, the almighty ruler of the universe.

Why does the book of Mormon speak of beleivers becoming and calling themselves Christians when the particular passage (Mosiah 4:2) was supposedly written in 124 years before Jesus born in Bethlehem. According to Mormonism. Jesus was supposed to have appeared to the native Americans after his death in Asia, not before.

I'm atheist and I'd like to instill some spiritual values in my child. We occasionally go to church. And I've taught him a bit about God.

However, I am curious how other atheists have taught their children spiritual values. I want my son to grow up with the awareness of being part of the universe. He is turning 5 soon.

Please keep it cordial and no fighting. Thanks!

We started our marriage together under the premise that we would find something together that we BOTH agreed on. (He's not baptized). Well, after we were married, his mother started pushing him really hard, and so we compromised and I started going to the kingdom hall to keep the peace in our home. Before I got too involved I decided out the blue to Google them. (we had been going to the kingdom hall for a few months at the time). Needless to say I was beyond shocked and dismayed over what I read. So, naturally I tried to show my husband, but he didn't want to read it! I was like you've go to be kidding me, you look up everything else on the net, why won't you read this?! So, finally I got him to sit down and watch a documentary about them, and he looked at sites that were non biased or condeseding but just pointed out facts (i.e this site formerly known as quotes.watchtower.ca) But I still have a hard time getting through his mind sets, and our children are caught in the middle. Help
