Yea, my tire blew amongst other things. I am not asking if I am being tempted with drugs, alcohol or the like. I have had a streak of bad luck and feel down in the dumps. Everytime I get back on my feet, something else knocks me down and I feel discouraged from trying again. Today was the first time I went back to church in 2 years. It was nice, but I know that I need more than just church. I know I need to re-dedicate my life back to God, but I just feel discouraged all the time.

Devil's attack - You feel condemned, guilty, suicidal.
God tested - You feel stretched and sometimes almost overwhelmed with situations. You are often given choices to see how you choose based on what you have learned from scripture.
Answer to both is prayer.

God doesn't tempt us to leave him or to do something sinful. If we do something, like see a dirty movie, the devil gets a reason to tempt you to more dirty movies or harrass you.
In the Lords prayer it is written to lead us not unto temptation but deliver us from evil. It is the devil who tempts. It is written also that let no one say that God tempted me to do this & that.
Gods testing, is just life trials. Like the tire blew. Are we going to scream? Or are we going to follow after the Spirit. Learning to make the soul choice of following after the Spirit, helps us to grow in Christ. Life is a test. How do we handle lifes situations. Do we react in the flesh or follow after the spirit.
Also the idea of spiritual attacks of the devil. You can know it is the devil, because the demon feels yuki. God gives discernment of spirits. I have seen spiritual demons before. And it might be because I was disobedient to God somewhere. So, I ask God why. I direct my attention to God. Submit to God, resist satan & satan flees. The devil gets scared if you submit to God and Gods Word. So pray about the devil to God. Bind the demon in weights & throw it to the bottom of the sea until judgment day. Thank God for it. I did this about a month ago & I visioned Jesus pointing towards it & angels followed through. That demon is out of here.

Adam and Even,
Job
and Jesus' temptation give us the the two best examples of when Satan tempts us. Satan entices you with the desires of your own heart.
God's test aren't for Him to find out where you are. They are for you to find out where you are.
Remember the parable of the wise and foolish builder. The storm came up and beat against both houses. The house on the sand fell while the one on the rock stood.
The only way most people know they have built the house on the sand is when the house falls down. The wicked do fall and the righteous are left standing.

Spiritual attack, within Christianity, is a term used to describe the belief that the Devil is deliberately using supernatural powers to discourage the targeted Christian from their belief in God. Such attacks can come in many forms, all of which can have a lasting, even permanent, detrimental effect on the recipient's religious life. Spiritual attacks can include possession, fear of holy objects, such as bibles or other holy books, and in many other ways.

The best thing is just to keep praying and don't concern yourself with knowing for sure. Not knowing for sure is a part of living in the darkness of faith. I mean, if it IS the devil (which is RARE, because we humans are real good at creating our own problems), then how is knowing going to help you? Just pray all the same, and be faithful and put yourself in the care of God. If it is a test from God, then you will "pass" by remaining steadfast.

If things are going good, great wonderful and you are spiritually happy and nothing is wrong. Nothing to tempt you. Then something is wrong. If Satan isn't after you, tempting you then you must already belong to him. He works on those who don't belong to him because he wants to take more loved ones away from God.

God doesn't toy with you and satan wants you to glorify him by thinking he just might have that much control over you...satan is thee deceiver, liar,...if you really feel it is him then you plead the Blood of Jesus over you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet, play that great Kirk Franklin song...STOMP ON THE DEVIL...You have authority over him given to you by God...Remember God wants you to succeed, and he will not give you more than you can handle...God is a loving god and you know his handy work because it will have LOVE written all over it!!!!
God Bless!

both are a test--and we must learn--always learn from all of it.
Thank God in all matters--the good and the bad--then if it is Satan attacking you--he will back off when he hears you thank God for the bad things he is doing to you. and when u can do this--you have passed another test.
