God sends his revelation through the Angel of Revelation (Angel Gabriel) who is also known as ruhool Qudoos (Holy Spirit).
When a new revelation would come it would be nearly identical to the previous but it may have some changes for mankind as per the decision of God.
It was then the duty of everyone to follow the latest book or commands.
That is why Jews stopped following the laws of David when Moses came.
When the Final Revelation came, it superceded all revelation before it and abrogated all laws before it.
Only the Final revelation from God will be protected from all change or corruption because no more Prophets will come to correct it.
God sent the Final Prophet.... the Prophet like unto Moses... through the lineage of the Ishmaelites and he spoke the words of God which Muslims chant 5 times a day in prayer. Muslims call the faithful to prayer from mountain heights and valleys and the Final Law and book has now been revealed as blessing unto all of mankind.

Apparently, the Holy Bible or the Q'uran is written by holy men who were INSPIRED by God. GOD is the main author and they were just the writers or the storytellers or scribes as they were called then.
I agree with you totally that the Bible is just a book. It should be used mainly as a Reference book. After all they have been rewritten and translated several times. Thru the course of the years, words have actually change in their meanings and application to men. There are some who have gone back to the original manuscripts as far back as they can. . They check out the meanings and intent and the language of that day. This intense research is documented in the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible; King James Bible. You would be surprised at the many truths and discrepancies.
Some of the epic events do not apply to modern times. Jesus spoke mostly in parables. And the understanding and comprehension of the Word of God and designs of God are all beyond mere mortal comprehension.
The Jew, Christian and the Muslim all claim that their religion is the only true religion. Judaism came into existence during the 5th Century B.C. Buddhism originated in the later part of the 6th century B.C. Therefore Judaism was the very first religion. Then Christianity., some 2000 yrs ago. Islam is the third. some 1400 yrs ago.
.
By whatever name God is known, Be it Yahweh, Jehovah,or Eloyhim or Allah or plain God. He is the same God; Creator and Giver of Life. Buddha is the prophet for Buddhism. Mohammed is for the Islam religion. No matter what they claim; both of these holy men didn't rise from the dead nor perform miracles. Only Jesus Christ, our Lord; did.

No was your answer. Well, logically it's true that God didn't WRITE the holy books on his own. As for the Qur'an; as I am a Muslim, we believe that God revealed his final revelation to Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) through the arch angel Gabriel. He and the companions later memorised it and wrote it down on the best piece of stuff used for writings on those days. Muhammad used to recite the revelation to Gabriel twice a year to make sure everything was perfect. It took 23 years for the whole revalation to complete. He later set the order it should be read. The first Qur'an in book form was later published during the time of the third Chaliph, Usman(I believe).
Earlier I said, the last revelation! Well that means there were earlier scriptures. A muslim has to beleive that Jesus Christ(pbuh) recieved the true Gospel from God and Moses recieved the Law. so did David recieved the "Zabur". But these scriptures were meant for people of specific nations like Bible for the Children of Israel. Since Muhammad was the final messenger of God and meant for the whole mankind, God choose to protect the Qur'an from corruption or editing.
On the other hand we believe, the Bible and the Old testament we have now are corrupted a little. For example, I was reading Time Magazine three weaks ago and there it was written that they were going to delete a verse from the bible bacause it's not suitable for this modern world. Anyway the earliest of the Gospel was WRITTEN years after the time of Jesus. There are many contradictions too. Ok bro, GOD BLESS YOU.

what evidence do u hv about the Qur'an not being God's word? The bible has been The book that has undergone a lot of changes. Now that is proof of it being a mortals work. Check & analyze all the bibles it is differenet in different times. The bible which waz written previously actually had the name Allah in it. The Qur'an to this date remains to be the only religious book that has been in its real form since when it decended on man 1400 yrs ago. It is Gods word bcoz no man waz ever know to have produced such wonderful lyric. It is so stated in the Qur'an.

Humans did write the Bible. However, they wrote it with God in their midst.
There's such a thing as religious tolerance. Yes, many Muslims and Christians are fighting. However, that's not because their religion dictates it. The Christians and Muslims fighting against each other is because they have this misconception about their faith and that is wrong. Christians and Muslims can live in harmony. I've talked to Muslims without them getting angry or without me getting angry. It's up to the individuals who seem to think that being a good Muslim/Christian is fighting all the other religions (of course the answer is NO).

I understand exactly what you are saying. Yes, this is one of the reasons why the Bible is Corrupt. BUT, the Quran, as soon as God told Prophet Muhammad something he told his followers and his followers recited it and Memorised it. In the Quran it does state that God has given the Muslims the gift of having excellent memories. Children as old as 7 are reciting the Quran from front to back Just from their memory. The Quran not only was it written down immediately after but it was recited by every devote Muslim and then passed down through generation and generation. Not a word changing from Mouth to the written scripture...

Praise be to Allah.
First of All, if you meant the action of (WRITING) then the answer of the main question is no ... But the question must be, are the words in the bible and The Holy Qur'aan are the words of Allah (the Only God)?
Then the answer simply is that The Qur'aan is the word of the creator ... And lots of contradiction in anyother book prooves that it's not from Allah....
And read the following sentence very well THERE'S NO CONTRADICTION EVER IN THE QUR'AAN ... and I meant every single word, you may hear from here and there that there's contradictions in the qur'aan then try to judge by a fair mind and you yourself won't find any contradiction ...
Read this article to know that the Qur'aan is the word of Allah:

And Allah knows best

First of all, if you don't believe that the Scriptures are the infallable words of God and inspired by God, then you have a tainted belief in God. God inspired man through the Holy Spirit to author the Bible through the ages, that includes translations from languages to languages. Man's interpretations have been molded in religious groupings that most often are not of God. God is not happy with many things that happen, including things that are evil, and still done "in His name". Our beliefs are sometimes tainted. God's Truth is never tainted.

The bible is writen by the hands of humans, but is inspired by God. Example: A secretary relays a message/letter to someone that the boss gave. Who wrote the letter ? The boss did, and he used the secretary to write it and send it.
2 Timothy 3:16,17 "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

Faith is the believing in the unseen. Logic implies it can be seen and proven. Faith and logic do not go hand in hand...the Bible was written because God had to be so and he anointed the author.
Same God, yes, but the difference is the promise that God gave to Abraham...to his promised child would receive the blessings...and a child out of wedlock was not the intended blessing. That was a sign of no faith and the promise was with Sarah to bear thee child. whalla...war...but from that child came the lineage of Jesus.
