It is a horrible doctrine, the work of heartless sadists.

Depends on what definition of original sin you are taking about. There are many varying definitions that determines if I agree with it or not.
I could explain the concept of orginal sin I agree with but it would take take the equivalent writing of a doctoral dissertation to do so so I won't on Yahoo answers.

Their is no original sin. Aman could not inherit a sin f rom his father but can inheirt the properties left by his father.
Nobody could inherit the sin of Adam and Eve. the fault of one is not the fault of all.
That is the falkse teachings of the pope or the pr;iest to force baptism for a child.

I think it's a repulsive concept. An innocent little baby who dies is going to burn in hell because somebody forgot to pour water on its head? Of all the things I don't like about Christianity, that idea is the worst.

The concept of a person's crimes being passed down to his/her children went out over 200 years in civilized countries. It was a law for thousands of years in Middle Eastern cultures. If someone wronged you and died you simply took it out on his/her decedents.
There are many outdated concepts in the Bible and the Koran. You either delude yourself and march on, or set out on your own quest for God.

If you want that then why not go all the way and believe in reincarnation? I think the only thing we share with the past is genes (that change over time) and culture (which also changes over time) and neither one of them can be inherently sinful.

Jesus came to replace the punishment of circumcision for the sons of men who deny fatherhood (original sin), with Baptism. Jesus was a Jew created by Jews to save the Jews from the Jews who promote neonatal circumcision as a bargain with god to protect them. Sometimes circumcision induces a delayed PTSD that surfaces after puberty as paranoid delussional schizophrenia with a subconscious desire to commit revenge. That's what happened to Cho.

It's a guilt trip.
It actually reminds me of criminals who manage to convince young girls that they own them money and will need to work for them to pay off their debt.

No, not at all.
Seriously, how can someone be born already a sinner? It's another tool to keep people in line.
