God DID write a book, but it was on two tablets and called the 10 Commandments.

As for the Bible, he had men write this because even though he miraculously wrote the 10 Commandments, people still didn't 'get it'. So he thought if I have several people all write their own book on what I've told them and on what they have witnessed themselves, then people would more likely believe what it says because peopel are such doubters. But they can believe things when there are several people who relate the same story.

I think men were disciples because Mary was the mother of Jesus and women were to be reveranced as the nurturer, the one who brings life into the world. Men were chosen to be those who guided and taught the family how to live. But if you read the Bible you will see where there were teaching stories regarding Mary Magdalene, Ruth, and several other women who did not and did have contact with Jesus. So in a way they were just as much 'disciples' as the men were if they were chosen to be an important part of the Bible's teachings.

The bible is inspired. 'Every scripture is God's breathed...' As for the disciples, there were many females such as Mary and Martha etc. Not everyone of the disciples in the first century was mentioned. That doesn't mean that the rest did nothing or were unimportant. The bible is not written as a record of diff people's achievement for that matter anyway. Different roles played by male n female doesn't mean inequality in the sexes(I'm a female by the way). Just that God has different role for male n female, just as not all will be leader. People are employed for the role that they do best, depending on their gender, talents, knowledge, skills n character.

The original source of knowledge is the Vedas. From the Vedas emanate all the spiritual or scriptural writings known to this planet, and all material knowledge also has been passed down by exponents of the original Vedas. The original Vedas were known by the aural tradition, or simply by hearing. The knowledge contained in the Vedas actually has no origin in history; the Vedas are so ancient as to be untraceable, but we have it from authority that they were set into writing 5000 years ago, when they were compiled by a great sage, Srila Krishna Dvaipäyana Vyäsadeva, who is an incarnation of God Himself.

That is why he created man, and woman, to be his witness's, and we are just that, thats all he needed at that time, now there is faith walker, me, and many other women, it was just in that time, and that is all he needed to start his work. That is still being done today, by men and women, and there testamonys are in books, just not the bible. But just a eye opening, as some of the storys in the bible. God writes on the hearts of men an women, not on paper.

The Bible is the word of God. Why would God write a book when he brought people into this world who are authors? He has amazing power. Would you actually believe that God wrote the Bible even if he did? I don't think so...

he did, the bible. of course it doesn't take much to write a book alone. go check out the book store and see all the idiots writing books. don't know why all disciples were men. probably because at that time part of the culture was for women to stay at home with their kids and tend to the home

Even if you do not believe that the bible is inspired or divine, it is very foolish, ignorant, and bigoted to state that it is ridiculous or hateful.

You have to take into account when it was written and the culture and people who wrote it.

Sure, it is not above questioning and reinterpreting over and over again, but it is the cornerstone of modern civilization whether you want to admit it or not.

In this world we are His hands and feet. There are many women in the Bible who did awesome things for Him. Deborah was a Judge leading Israel. Esther was a Queen. And there were women that followed Jesus and they are mentioned in scripture, Mary Magdalene, Susanna, Joanna just to name a few.

God did write a book. It's called the Bible. My favorite verse is Hosea 13:16 where God says that he is going to punish Samaria by killing all her woman and children and then goes on to describe how he's going to rip all the fetuses from the bellies of the all the pregnant women.

I love God. God is great.
