My parents were both Christians and they tried to brainwash me to believe in what they believe in. I was brainwashed for a little while. I believed in Jesus and God when I was little, then I fiigured out my parents were just trying to lie to me. People told me that God and Jesus were not real and I believed them. I have seen many websites which have convinced me that God and Jesus were not real. There is no evidence that Jesus and God were real. What's funny is most people believe in what their parents believe in, but I don't.

There is a God. It is hard to know until you have an experience with Him. There are many different opinons out there but still one truth. Just like you many people have many opinions or beliefs about you or me but there is still only what is true abou tyou sticks. ANYbody can make a website so I wouldn't use that as my sole source for making my decisions. Pray and ask God to give you a sign and an experience with Him. I believe he will. It won't hurt to pray it only takes a minute. Just be sincere

enable's turn this round. you're a father or mom and also you're saying no God exists. So what you as a father or mom tell your newborn have were given to be genuine. Like no Santa Clause and the teeth Fairy. proper? you would say splendid. What this finished question overlooks is guy's ability to placed existence proper right into a idea or idea interior of an same mind-set that a man or woman is caused to write down a track or create a sparkling e-e book or perhaps speculate a sparkling idea. guy can attempt this. certain someone can attempt this even if we were youngsters. for kids have the flair to imagine in the amazing that an human being who's finished of skepticism and cynicism can no longer. they are like that photo in which there are 3 entities in which one is blind, one extra mute, and a diverse covers there ears. They deny truth. the very truth of who guy may be very amazing for the believer than it truly is for the unbeliever. What damage is there at the same time as cultures have a symbolic be certain like Santa Claus or a teeth Fairy? They represent the properly humanity can do to at least one one extra and no longer damage. what's so incorrect about that?

Really?

Then why does the world change?

For example, originally in the United States slavery was an institution supported by the Democratic party and the majority of people in the United States.

Over time that changed. The Anti-Slavery Party, the Republicans, was developed in the 1850's and placed a President in office in the 1860's. A minority of states left the United States. New York, the state, refused to side with the Confederacy although New York the city rioted against the Civil War and people ran around lynching blacks in the streets of New York City.

I do not see a lot of lynchings of black people in New York City any more.

It is my contention that this is evidence that children do not inherit the political or religious views of their parents.

If they did then people would still be rioting in New York City, Lynching Blacks and Democrats in leadership would still be calling them "Draft Riots", as if lynching blacks has anything to do with the military draft.

Got to love the long term culture of corruption and spin doctoring in the Democrats political party, and how blindly their members follow them.

Your parents were obeying what the Bible told them to do. They tried to raise you as a wise and God-fearing person, but you chose to disregard their teachings. Obeying God's commandments is the safest and smartest course of action in this world, but like so many of your generation, you think you know more than God and your Christian parents.

There will probably come a day when you'll wish you had your parents around to listen to their teaching and benefit from their wisdom. This may not happen until you're in your 30's or 40's and have teens of your own, however.

For your sake, I hope your parents are still around to help you. For your parents' sake, I hope your children take the same stubborn, rebellious path that you are doing and cause you the same kind of pain that you're no doubt causing your own parents.

Most people in society believe there is a god

It sometimes seems like a science fiction movie were everyone else seems to completely miss the obvious and you wonder how can they be so blind!

There are people out there who really believe the flood in the Noah story actually happened - but if they actually thought about it for 2 minutes they'd realise it's total nonsense

Ask your parents. No one but them really knows why they did things.

God may or may not be real, but there is good historical evidence that Jesus of Nazareth was a historical person.

Whether he was God, or Messiah, or prophet, or just an ordinary human being is another question, though.

Because their parents did it to them, and so on. They don't MEAN to lie to their kids, but that's what religion did to them. Break the cycle of ignorance and find your own answers, like I did.

People believe in god just because someone told them so. They don't think with their own heads.

God is real. God have always been here in the beginning, he is here now, and will always be here. So, give God some of your time and you will feel good.
