Isn't this the same thing? Are not Christians are the same Jews? BTW, what religion were Adam and Eve?

The morons in the Islamophobic hate industry have struck again. Apperantly the VT shootings are Islam's fault because the murderer used the nom de guerre "Ismail Axe". Apparently because the Arabic term for Ishmael "Ismail" was used, this proves he's a muslim. Just disregard the fact that he repeatedly emulated Jesus christ and not Isa, the Islamic Jesus. Just ignore the fact that nearly all Koreans in America are Christians, right?

My earlier questions about dating and having pre-marital sex, almost all responded that it is not supported/liked/suggested by bible.

How many true christians do you think we have, who believe and practice abstinance in this world.

I keep seeing the number sequence "444" and I was wondering what it means and/or what 444 symbolizes.

I mostly see it on clocks at 4:44. I usually am in the kitchen and will look up and see on the clocks the number 444. I woke up one morning all of a sudden and saw that it was 4:44 a.m.
Hope that someone can help me figure out this mystery,
Thanks,

I don't buy the devout = ignorant party line. Never have. It'd be interesting to see what a dinky, non-random, totally non-scientific polling of R&S has to say about that.

I work as a bank teller, and I'm always exposed to a variety of new faces. Every day, I meet new people from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, religions, etc.

Every once in a while, I come across certain people who ask me what religion I follow. I'm Buddhist, and I openly tell them so. Immediately, they would begin to quote the bible to me for up to 10 minutes. They would tell me how I would go to hell if I deny Jesus Christ as my savior. They tell me that I live in sin, and that Buddha will never forgive me, only Jesus can.

Instances such as this one has been happening to me more and more often, and it UPSETS ME SO MUCH. I live a healthy lifestyle! I take care of those around me, I love my parents and neighbors, I give to the needy, and I try to make everyone around me happy, even at the expense of my own happiness at times.

I don't understand why i should be going to hell in the eyes of a Christian, simply for believing in a different god.

According to Acts, they seem to act as official witnesses of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. But according to Acts, there were many more witnesses to these than just these 12. So what would be the difference between being one of the official 12, and being another witness of the same events?

This may sound like a strange question but in general many practitioners of some form of magical art would follow some ethical standard to not interfere in the free will of others. For example ask almost any witch following the principles found in Wicca if it is right to cast a love spell on someone and they will say that it is not right to interfere in the free will of others or coerce them in any way. Why is it ok to pray for people against their will?Especially in regards to changing their opinion in matters of religion and basically passively trying to force them into something. Isn't this just an attempt at magic of the blackest kind? Spells and prayer do share some basic principles. This is not to say that either of these forms of trying to get something actually work. More about the ethical aspects of having something forced on you.

Sure they try with Christian rock concerts and everything...but let's face it. Rules and Regulations (ie. the 10 commandments CANT be made cool). America is about individual freedom NOT fictiotious fairy tales to be adhered to. Tell me, does any Christians here believe they are cool? How can you? Some would say you are stuffy nerds who don't know a good time at all...................

There were 11 disciples of Jesus who, after his death, became apostles (sent out to spread the word). Matthias was chosen after Jesus' death to replace Judas Iscariot, making the official number 12.

Paul was not one of the 12, but he was clearly one of the, if not the, most important Apostle. How does he relate to the 12?

What was different about Paul's role and the role of the 12?

Thanks.

Matthew 27:3-10 and
Acts 1:18-19

These both record Judas' death, and why the Field of Blood is called the "Field of Blood." They seem to have different explanations for who purchased that field, why it was called that, and how Judas died.

Can these be reconciled?

Thanks.

(I never mean any disrespect with my questions such as these. I hope I don't offend anyone. I am open to a possible reconciliation of these and other seemingly contradictory passages)
