Life is a test. Before life on this earth. We all lived with our Heavenly Father. We all wanted to be just like him. To become like him. But we needed a body. So, he developed a plan so that we can come to earth and gain a body. What we do in this life, determined with we are worthy of becoming like him and our Heavenly Mother. Family is very important. Don't worry so much. Just pray and ask for guidance. Heavenly Father loves us and answers all of our prays.
If you have made some mistakes in life. Jesus Christ, our older brother and Heavenly Fathers first born son, died for us for the Atonement which allows us to repent on our sins.
Just remember, there is more to life than just this life. Don't make stupid mistakes and what you learn now, you take with you. So, just live life completely out and learn something new every day and, of course, be your best self. And, don't worry what the meaning of life is. You'll be fine.

So...like are U asking if U should live a "Lie" doing something for someone else like Ur "Parents"??? Or should U do like most these days & become a "Valued Member of the ME,ME,ME Generation" all wrapped up in Urself??? Scripture says; Mat. 6:25-34 v.33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you." What do U think??? John

Both, by living for other makes my life better. I buy goods from other people, they from others. We pay a little extra for people to make roads and to protect us. It all works out nicely, at least until you add the god equation to the mix.

To live for God and through your love for Him, you will come to love others. Without God, all our love amounts to is accumulating mere feelings. Only God can change our desire for an "I-it" relationship into a desire for an "I-Thou" relationship.
