Nope, some of them blame me. Some of them blame their spouse. Some of them blame Bush. Some of them blame Adam. It all depends on how who their pastor blames that given Sunday.

p.s. The church can neither confirm nor deny the theory that since god is the author of satan, that makes god the author of evil. They state that god is good and all good things come from god, and also state that god is the creator of everything (except evil, god just created the thing that created evil, and even though god knew it was going to create evil, he thought it would be a good house warming present for the newly made people he put on earth).

I actually don't blame Satan for much of anything. He's definitely at work, but people are still responsible for their own actions. Satan doesn't have to work very hard nowadays at all for evil to thrive. No, no heck no! Blame Canada! Oh, wait, that was a movie. Blame people. "The devil made me do it" defense was old the first time it was used.

No not even! God is a merciful God and gave eveybody free will. The bible says that Lucifer aka satan was jealous of the Father Son and Holy Ghost. Satan cannot do anything without the will of God. Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in Heaven and lead the Holy chior. He was found to be con-spiriting against God and the decision on was made for Lucifer and one third of the angels to be cast to earth as it was at that time. In the book of Job (bible) he had to return to heaven and strike a deal with God, accusing Him of protecting Job. Horrible calamities came on Job and the only requirement in God's deal was not to kill Job. Job being the wealthiest man on earth at the time lost his wives, children, crops, cattle - suffered boils where he even had his close friends say to him renounce God and die. Job did not do this and ended up with much more than what he had. The point is that Satan is the King of this earth as we know it. He was an angel of light and his methods of floods, drought, hurricanes are brought on by him-not God! It is the world who wants to blame God however in the end God is patient and loving and when Christ returns the Devil (Satan) will tremble knowing that what he was created for could of been his to have. The Devil is not what you see him portrait on cartoons etc. God is just using Satan to sort out the wheat from the chaff-and Satan knows this. He uses horoscopes, mediums, music and can appear as a ghost of a dead relative to deceive those still living since he has been around since the beginning of time and can impersonate voices, images etc. God is Love- not drugs, sex, and rock n roll as he would all like to lead us down the path that he knows will happen to him. Hope this helps!!

Satan is defined in their religion as the definition of bad, therefore all Christians who believe that Satan exists blame "everything" (or all bad things) on him.

Sounds to me like a scapegoat from personal responsibility! But who am I to judge I'm going to hell! (jk)

Only the things that are thought of as bad, harm-full. I think this is just there way of avoiding responsibility. Because the Christan belief system is a system of handing off their transgressions, thy say Jesus died for my sins so I'm forgiven, also as in the garden of Edin when asked did you eat the fruit? each reply was answered with the blame of another person;eve gave it to me, eve the snake gave it to me. You see no responsibility!

Why would they want to admit that it was their fault? It's convenient pull Satan out of your back pocket and blame him rather than take the blame yourself.
