I think that kitties have a hidden knowledge or sense or intuition that we as humans could learn from and not be arrogant of invincibility but be on guard for dangers that a kittie has enough sense to avoid.

I don't know about intuition. However, it is been said they know something is going to happen before an earthquake.
Also like dogs can hear sounds people can't, I believe cats can see things people can't. There are a lot of microorganisms around we can't see with the naked eye.
It has been noted that cats will stare and actually trail their eyes and there is nothing there.

Sometimes, yes. I always figure if my cats are content, everything is 'ok' in the house.

Edit to add: I'll probably get some thumbs down for this, but my older cat that just passed away - I'm certain he saw my mother's spirit on two occasions in the few days after her death.

Another add: My newest kitty just swiped a piece of pepperoni off my pizza with one claw so fast I couldn't stop her... so add deceit and agility to their list of skills... she's really proud of herself right now

No, I don't think so. The other day I left the room and returned a few minutes later to find my cat on the table, eating my meal. He had absolutely no idea I was about to kick him up the ****. He's no good at crosswords either.

Believe it or not animals such as cats tend to be pretty intuitive to their surroundings as well as towards people.

Afghan hound. we have 4, and they read my wife mind.
they know when she is thinking about feeding them, or going to take them out side. but especially when she want to give them a bath. they hide under the table.
but they are not like regular dog, we say that they think like a cat.
if you tell them to do something, they think about it and decide whether they want to do it or not.

i'll say that they see things that i dont always see - i love the way they can look right through you, or past you as if you werent even there - they taught me that's there was more out there than i was seeing - the cats i had in the past were some of my greatest companions

Oh yes. I think many animals know some things we don't actually. They seem to know what life is all about and how to enjoy it, whereas we seem to forget the simple things.

I do.

In ancient Egypt they were said to be the Guardians of the underworld (or something to do with the dead)
So i do believe they harbor secret knowledge that we lack.
