One poster on the previous question theorized that matter and energy formed after the big bang, I would suppose from nothing. But, doesn't it take energy and mass to cause a rapid expansion or explosion of a very dense and hot mass? If so, what lit the fuse?

I have often noticed that many Bible-believing people USE the Bible to PROVE the Bible.

For example, when asked "Is the Bible the literal word of God?," Bible-believing persons will answer "yes."

When asked, "Where is the proof?," they will claim, "the Bible SAYS it is the proof."

This type of logic seems somewhat cyclical in nature. It is basically the equivalent to saying "I'm right because I say I am right."

Is there any way to accomplish proving the Bible's validity without having to resource the Bible itself? If so, what methods can you think of?

if you study a well-made banana you’ll find on the far side there are three ridges. On the close side, there are two. If you get your hand ready to grip a banana you’ll find on the far side there are three grooves and on the close side two grooves. The banana and the hand are perfectly made, one for the other. You’ll find the maker of the banana, Almighty God, has made it with a non-slip surface. It has outward indicators of inward contents- green: too early, yellow: just ripe, black: too late. Now if you go to the top of the banana, you’ll find as with the soda can makers, who placed a tab at the top, so God has placed a tab at the top. When you pull the tab, the contents don’t squirt out in your face. You’ll find a wrapper which is biodegradable, and has perforations. Notice how gracefully it sits over the human hand. Notice it has a point at the top for ease of entry, it’s exactly the right shape for the human mouth, it’s chewy, easy to digest, it’s even curved toward the face.

In your perspective, tell me what you believe. Whether you're a Christian or not, do you believe the Bible should be taught as an elective class in school? And I'm not talking about as literature or a history lesson, but really study and learn about the Bible by choice.

Krishna states that the root of all suffering and discord is the agitation of the mind caused by selfish desires and that you have to still your mind.

Through yoga you engage oneself in a higher form of activity and focus on glory of self by dedicating one's actions to the Divine

What do you think?

Dear Beloved in Christ.
It is by the grace of God that I received Christ, having known
thetruth, I had no choice than to do what is lawful and just in the sight of
God for eternal life and in the sight of man for witness of God & is
Mercies and glory upon my life.I am Mrs.Sarah Baxter, the wife of Mr ricky
Baxter, my husband worked with the Chevron/Texaco in Jordan for twenty
years before he died in the year 2005.We were married for ten years
without a child. My Husband died after a brief illness that lasted for
only four days. Before his death we both got born-again and dedicated
christians.Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside
my matrimonial home which the Bible is strongly against. When my late
husband was alive he deposited the sum of US$7.5 Million.(Seven Million
Five Hundred Thousand U.S.Dollars) with a Bank in Europe. Presently,
this money is still with the Bank and the management just wrote me as the
beneficiary that our account has been DORMANT and if I,as the
beneficairy of the funds, do not re-activate the account; the funds will be
CONFISCATED or I rather issue a letter of authorization to somebody to
receive it on my behalf (note that you need to activate thisaccount) as I
can not come over.Presently,I'm in a hospital in Jordan where I have
been undergoingtreatment for esophageal cancer.I have since lost my
ability to talk and my doctors have told me that I have only a few weeks to
live. It is my last wish to see this money distributed to charity
organizations anywhere in the World. Please, I beg you in the name of God to
help me Stand-in as thebeneficiary and collect the Funds from the
Bank.I want a person that isGod-fearing who will use this money to fund
churches, orphanages and widows propagating the word of God and to ensure
that the house of God is maintained. With God all things are possible. If

Jesus was the last Israelite Prophet. If his message was truly for all the world then he would NEVER have said (even once) that he came only for one group of people. He would have said he had come for the whole world from the moment he started preaching.

Jesus was the last Prophet sent unto the Israelites and after he was denied, Prophethood was shifted to the Ishmaelites.

(Matthew 15:24) He (Jesus) replied, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
(Matt 10:5-6)--- Jesus sent out these 12 after giving them instructions: "Don't take the road leading to other nations, and don't enter any Samaritan town. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The big bang theory states that there was a huge explosion of very hot dense matter that created the universe and time. Where did this dense matter come from and who or what created it?

Whatever your beliefs, do you feel tolerant and forgiving of people who come on this site just to offend and anger you? Personally, free speech is one thing, abject offensiveness is another.

In regards the teaching of their religion in public schools?

If any religion is taught it should be all, and not one. If that was to happen then a vast majority of the timetable would be taken up just on teaching the different religions.

If you want religious tuition then go to your relevant religious organisations, or teach them yourself at home.Don"t expect public schools to provide the servise. You pay like any other specialised subject you want to learn.

A tiny bit of nothing packed so tightly together that it blew up and produced all the matter in the universe. Seriously now, this is a fairy tale. It is a bunch of armchair calculations, and nothing else.

Nothingness cannot pack together. It would have no way to push itself into a pile.

A vacuum has no density. It is said that the nothingness got very dense, and that is why it exploded. But a total vacuum is the opposite of total density.

There would be no ignition to explode nothingness. No fire and no match. It could not be a chemical explosion, for no chemicals existed. It could not be a nuclear explosion, for there were no atoms!

There is no way to expand it. How can you expand what isn’t there? Even if that magical vacuum could somehow be pulled together by gravity, what would then cause the pile of emptiness to push outward? The "gravity" which brought it together would keep it from expanding.

Nothingness cannot produce heat.

Are most religions really peaceful if followed in their true form? I think it was buddha who said the world would be at peace if all religions were practiced as they were suppose to be.

For example, I think Islam would be a very peaceful religion if they actually followed thier quran.

why do we have a book called bible (by book i mean OT and NT). Was it not enough to have just these few words written down and allow the humanity to do whatever they want as long as they believed in those words. Why give examples from past and prophecies about future, contradictory statements and no yet proven logic.

Please take the question in its literal meaning. Honest answers only.

Spirits and Demons would manifest themselves when they were in peoples souls/bodys to Jesus Christ Proclaiming they new who he was, Jesus would cast them out useing authority. Many of his desciples did the same but at times would have difficulty with some types of possession. The disciples were given authority from Jesus. Now days you don't see spirits or Demons manifesting themselves in people very often. What's your opinion? I think people who play occult games or practice occult practices unconditionaly go threw a unholy baptism. Meaning they become possessed by spirits and Demonic forces. This is were powers in witches come from Spirits and Demonic forces.

In 1 Corinthians 9 Paul describes on of the rights of an apostle as being able to take a believing wife on a missionary trip. In 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, Paul states that one of the qualifications of being a bishop is that he is the husband of one wife. Why then are priests forbidden to marry? Is it not possible that one of the reasons the Catholic Church has been having such trouble lately with priests commiting immoral acts is because of the unnatural burden that has been placed upon them? Please answer seriously.
