I use 2 get angry at racism and the lack of tolerance for beliefs and religion but now I realize these people FEED off
of hatred and love 2 get a rise out of people. Some people are really ignorant and some are unintelligent and some just
don't have a clue what they are talking about.
I try very hard not 2 judge anymore or react to mean and offensive speech.
Some I think (speech) is too extreme and believe Y/A has a duty too monitor some remarks more closely anything and everything should not be allowed there is a limit and restriction on free speech.
You Can not go in a crowded movie and yell fire can u.
Everyone is entitled too their opinion but please respect others as well.

I think people end up offending others because they don't know the truth of whatever it is they're going off about. Sometimes that includes their own religions.
I just let people say what they want b/c I know that it's mostly ignorance on their parts, but I also agree with you that coming on here just to slam someone is uncalled for. But, they will then let their lack of tolerance and their true colors show and dig their own holes.

Yes ultimately it is a forum for people to exchange opinions and experiences. Some people are naturally very aggressive, or simply feel very strongly about certain issues. I don't think with many answers that they intend to directly insult the person, they simply feel that their beliefs have been attacked 'first' and they are reacting rather than responding. You shouldn't take it to heart but merely take it into consideration.

Not really. I feel a lot of people are here to offend someone. The whole forgiveness thing is my biggest problem anyway.

I accept that, coming to this site willingly, I'm asking for trouble. I search for any morsels of intelligence among posters I agree with and disgree with, then try to take it all in stride.
In real life, I'm only confrontational when confronted, and have a live-and-let-live attitude as long as nobody's deliberately and knowlingly trying to promote god in my life, my work, or my government. When that happens, I see myself as fighting for my freedom to live according to the dictates of my conscience, within the limits of the law.

The people I find the most annoying are not the ones who come on here in order to be offensive, but the genuine and innocent ones who simply refuse to think.

Do you feel anger if an infant hurts you?
One should not feel anger toward a blind man whom causes an accident because he is blind.

I try to ignore those that intentionally try to get a rise out of me, but alas being only human sometimes my sarcasm gets the best of me.
