The big bang theory states that there was a huge explosion of very hot dense matter that created the universe and time. Where did this dense matter come from and who or what created it?

That's the thing about any theory that doesn't include an extra-dimensional uncaused, first cause like the God of the Bible. It doesn't make any sense because logically nothing should exist because saying that something has always existed doesn't explain it's origin. If there was a "big bang" (which to me sounds like God saying 'let there be light') then where did the matter and energy come from in the first place?

The explosion you mention is actually theorized too have been a explosive event that took over millions of years.

Now why would anybody presume a "who" was involved? When we look around the universe nothing in it looks like a "who" had any hand in making anything. Where the matter came from? we may never know, but that doesn't mean we should say some imaginary god being did it, especially since there is no evidence that gods are anything other than pure fantasy.

The big bang theory actually is just a model for the expansion of the universe.

The big bang says nothing about anything "Creating" the universe.

Matter and energy formed AFTER the big bang as a direct result of the rapid expansion. It formed in conjunction with huge amounts of negative gravitational potential energy.

Why would you assume anything created anything?

Relativity teaches us to look at reality as static eternal space-time not space changing with time. That said, our space-time is probably based on something more fundamental such as the mathematics of string theory or some other mathematics we are not yet familiar with.

According to String Theory, There were many Big Bands and the Universe was always here.

No one knows. It would require immense energies we are yet to approach to find any suggestion of an answer. In the end, the question is moot. The mass-energy to create the universe always existing must be at least as probable as an eternal intelligent entity capaple of creating that mass-energy.

God created it. Muslims also believe in the big bang theory, because it is mentioned in the {Quran 21:30}

There may have been in Gen. 1 it says "In The beginning GOD Created heaven [sky] and earth, also Look at Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:9 For he spake, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.
at the command of The Second member of The Godhead [see John chapter 1] Jesus Christ there may have been a BIG BANG but its the POWER of GOD that made it bang, in Gen.1 we are also told evening and morning were the first day, evening and morning were the second, that's 24 hour periods, so in SIX day God DID create this world find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org email [not messenger] me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

good question? the theory that life began as a random set of events is like the tornado that goes through a junk yard and at the end would create a 747 Aircraft..all by accident? I hardly think man was created by an accident of nature or evolution..either by God or an Alien power...these to me would seem more likely..i do not believe man emerged from the sea and over periods of countless time became a thinking person..but believe what you want..
the question i have..was it God? or an Alien..or is it really the same thing..truth is stranger then fiction.

the bible dodn't say anything about it. Then again planty of things in the bible are wrong. And we dont even know who wrote it... so it could all be fake. In the end of what created this and what created that. something supernatural has to be behind all of this. Nothing can just come out of nowhere.

It was an expansion, not an explosion.

Look up brane theory and pair-production. It's too much to explain here, especially in the religion section.

No one created it. It just happened in accordance with physical laws.
