I believe first we have to realize the need for God. Then those who realize a need for his began to seek the truth. Those who seek the truth recieve a gift called faith and through faith comes revelation and a personal relationship with God.

You would think so, but all you really need to have a god is some gullible people at the bottom of the hill waiting for you to tell them what to do. You come down with some stone tablets and some vague commands written on them, and you've got yourself a religion. From there, you can write the book yourself and as long as no one questions you, you're golden.
Man, I'm thinking of starting my own religion, just like the christians, muslims, and mormons. I think I'll start by quiting my job and saying god wrote a book on my computer while I was away at work. He's angry with all the religions who only follow part of his instructions and has condemned them all to Hell 2.0, which is worse than hell because they're in solitary pressure cookers and can see their loved ones being tortured but can't communicate with them, for eternity. He says that the only way to avoid the pressure cooker of Hell 2.0 is to stop going to church, denounce all other faiths, and live life as good people, saving their money for the future to take care of their families and once a month, doing something to help someone less fortunate than you. For proof, I'd send them a copy of the Book of Ca (confirmed atheism, but no one else needs to know that) that was divinely written by god himself on my computer.
If you think this is a good idea, give me a thumbs up. The more thumbs I get, the more consideration I'll give to writing the book.
Or maybe I should write yet another book, one in which Jesus steals the identity of another son of god and rides around on a stolen donkey pretending to fulfill the prophecies of another religion. That one I can back with historical evidence, it'll be like the Da Vinci Code all over again, only with Jesus as the main character. Let me know what you think.

For every good thing God does, the devil does something equally bad. There are some scientific theories that there is a God, but there are just as many that say there isn't. The non believer says," Show me God and I will believe." The believer says,"Believe in God and he will show himself to you." When God shows himself to you, that is all the proof you need.

God is already proven. He's proven Himself in everyday miracles. How the planets don't collide, how we are still alive after one sinful day, and how He died for us. These are all proofs that He loves us. And that He lives.

God did not write the bible. It is a story about him, but it is not His book. It only states that it is His Word. As for it being true though, well it is told by man, and men lie. I don't know....

Yes. You can't accept divine inspiration as a reason to believe in a book if you don't accept that there's a proper source of divine inspiration.

The Lord said Himself, "....whoever puts my words into practice, will know if I am telling the truth or not". If you want to know if the bible really belongs to God, put it to the test.

It is not necessary for God to prove anything to you.
He is not on trial here.
But the Human soul and your destiny IS!
Therefore Choose Life..so that you and your children will live!
