Christians always cry foul at pagans, but it is they who are usually doing the persecuting of non Christians. I wish they would all get off this planet.

I am asking this seeking the truth, not as an attack, and none of my family will answer me...so please, answer me honestly and politely. Is it true, to your beliefs, that if you are sealed in the temple, that you will live to be a family in heaven, still be married and still have your kids.
I am just wondering, because in the original bible Lue 20:27-47 it states that marriage is just a worldly thing, and that when we die, we will no longer be married, but we will be like angels, and we will be there for god.
If you cannot be a good person, and answer without being snippy or rotten, please don't answer. I seek the truth...not to blow you down. I have been fighting as to whether to ditch a religion, in seek of one more enlightened, or whether the church I was baptised into is just a church of convenience. Please answer only if you can be nice. I am being totally sincere here.

My husband is not a Christian! I am not asking him to become one and he is not asking me to become a muslim either. I just need to break the news to him on how i want things done in the house. He smokes and he drinks. I do not smoke and drink! We both swear alot and other sins i need not mention! I want to break the news out to him that I want a change. I beleive that since our house is full of sin that Jesus will not help us with our problems. Marrital problems that is!

I do not wany any more swearing, or drinking, or smoking, or other things in our house for 1 wk. I want to see how it helps our relationship any!

How do I break this news out to him!

P.S. I hide his ciggerates and his beer on him!

Do you really believe that Jesus is a religion? Or do you think that religion is in and of itself used by those who want to deter faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth?

I always wanted to know. When people die, is that God's will, or is it something that wasn't supposed to happen, but God allowed it to? My boyfriend and I have different views on this. I don't need smart aleck answers...and if you aren't a Christian more than likely I don't need you to answer this question..thanks.

There are two things that children will never discover unless they are taught; how to hate, and, how to worship a Christian God to His specifications.

In the TV show Stargate-SG1 the new enemy seems to parallel real life religious zealots amazingly well. The Ori are a group of "aliens" that lived billions of years ago and eventually evolved to understand the nature of the universe so well that they exist only as beings of energy. The thing is that they evolved from the original humans in another galaxy but the culture split ideologically and parted ways when these ascended beings realized that they could gain power in their godly dimension when the unascended humans worshipped them. It seems that the Ori were all about this so they went about creating a race of humans with their technology to worship them and increase their power. The Alterians (the other side of the fence) felt it was wrong to selfishly increase their power by using humans to worship them. While both races were still mortals it seems that the Ori created a plague to infect the Alterians so being worried that they would be wiped out, created a genetic code on (more)

If you ask a religious person a question, not to debunk their faith, but just to see what they believe as opposed to other religions, and they retort or bark at you, and don't answer the question...how would you take that? Personally I would think that they don't know the answer, or they are not willing to enlighten a person not of their religion...which by the way is wrong. Oh, and if you answer this question, please tell me your religion, I'm dying to know!
