Yes i do cause i have 2.
They don't hate, though they have saw plenty of it thanks to society.
But they don't practice christianity either.
Why..
Because they are well adjusted young men with minds of thier own, and have the right to chose what beliefs they want to follow.

Either we teach them those things,,,or they learn it all by themselves. If we didnt teach a 12 year old about sex, do you feel they would stay ignorant of the subject? A Christian God and his Specifications? No human being is capable of abiding by the Bible as it is written! And dont go saying your sins are forgiven. Can you take back words after you have said them? NO!

I agree children will learn how to hate from many sources but not themselves. Children are innocent and want to love and be loved - hate doesn't come into play unless they learn it. Unfortunately children can learn hate from a variety of places - from parents, peers, media and society.
I also agree that children will only learn about The Divine from the same places that they learn hate. If you wish your children to be compassionate, modest, empathetic, kind, humble, hopeful, charitable, faithful, etc. They must learn it and that teaching should start at home.

I was not taught to hate nor was I taught to worship God..I discovered both by just opening my eyes. Then I realised that one taught me not to hate. Children pick up behaviours from tv, school, books, families, friends etc....but what they decide to take on board is usually, for children, experimental, until they get older. Mimicking is something children do because they lack the ability to decide what is good and bad when they are little.

I disagree somewhat. Children will feel immense feelings of dislike, without being taught. How they deal with those feelings depend on the teachings of others.
I agree 100% on the god.

Is this the best you can come up with to ask a question about how and why people believe in God? Lol. I do not know a lot of people that hate. That is awfully harsh. Dislike maybe. Children have a natural dislike for things, self learned. As for God, how do you know? Really. :)
p.s. all atheists believe, that is why they are so troubled over it.

I have three children. I don't know a blad-dasted thing about the buggers.
It's Greek to me.
Nonetheless...you could substitute any institutionalized religion with the same result.

I have to disagree since we are born sinners at some point our anger will teach us hate. it's only a natural progression.
