Jesus did not create a religion, He established a Church. Religion is man made, not God made.

Jesus'/God is the head of the church. Faith is the basis of the beleif in him.
Religion is man made laws and customs. And exclusive

Grace. God is the Truth and Grace, the seeker needs not
to be religious to find God, but rather, seek with an untainted

faith is a series of ideals. All adult men have a faith, in spite of if this is the set of ideals that there is not any God. our lord god prevalent a fashion for us to have a private relationship with Him, and that's thru His son Jesus. The Lord Himself defined actual faith. All different religions are guy's tries to usurp the Kingship of God our father. guy in his smug disobedience tries to alter different religions with a view to maintain from having to obey God.

I have to share this line I heard recently in church (nondenominational): Religion wants to change man from the outside in; God wants to change man from the inside out. Religion is too preoccupied with legalisms like how someone is dressed or groomed, or what time they get up in the morning, or how they vote. God doesn't care about any of that. He just wants to work in your heart. The rest, if it matters, will follow.

I believe that religion is a good thing for some people. I believe relationship with Christ is more important for me.
