Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
So, God says we were made of dirt.
Even scientists have said EVERY chemical/mineral in the human body is also found in plain old dirt.
But, in evolution, the first species would have had to evolve from dirt, or bacteria.
Even if this DOES explain evolution, how did the people who formed the Bible know this? It'd be impossible for them to know this yet. And I seriously doubt it was a lucky guess.
So, the fact of us coming from dirt, does this proove evolution, or God?
I personally think it could go either ways, but since they somehow already knew this before scientists, I pick God.

Is the purpose of life to be saved or to stablish the kingdom of God in this world? Please tell me what faith you belong to in your answer (Catholic, Baptist, Hindu, Muslim, etc.)

10 points will be awarded to the person who can tell me the best thing to do on a cruise ship while out at sea.

If religion was the path to God but you never knew about any of it because you lived isolated all your life from civilization or something, would you go to Heaven or Hell or Nirvana or wherever? Are there exceptions from religion?

I realize you probably can't answer for sure, just send up ideas please.

Religions of all faiths demnads the one principal I will mention....

Respect, and a strict adherence to its mechanics.

Where is the proof for what what most ignorantly claim to be truth, especially the bashing of a Most Beautiful deen such as islam?

This is sad that some readily profess belief and act according to disbelief.....

As Salaamun Alaikum, Can I get a witness!
May Allah reward us all for our desire to know truth.....

A rare celestial phenomenon of near-miraculous coincidence of size and distance that the moon appears as exactly the right size to cover the sun so perfectly and reveal the corona. Total eclipses are widely regarded as one of Nature’s greatest spectacles. The chill and sweep of the Moon’s shadow, the sparkle of Bailey’s beads, and the sight of the corona blazing across the darkened daytime sky are life-altering experiences for some observers. If the Moon were slightly smaller than the Sun, the best eclipses would be annular ones with no dramatic corona or blackening of the daytime sky. If the Moon were slightly larger, the full glory of the chromosphere and prominences surrounded by the glowing corona would be lost. Fortunately, the Moon is “just right.” Earth is the only planet in the solar system with spectacular solar eclipses. Thanks to an apparently improbable coincidence, the Sun and the Moon are almost exactly the same size as seen from Earth. The Sun is 400 times larger than the Moon, but it is also 400 times farther away.

OK I am a religous person, I believe in God and what the Bible says. Well in the Bible there is no mention of anything close to Dinosours. In the beginging when God made everthing, there is no mention of dinosours. And after Christ death and the A.D. time period started, complex civilitations began to grow. Leaving no room for dinosours anywhere in history. Yet we find fossiles of them. When do they fit into history? and How?

I can understand why males would want to be christians, but there's all these women trapsing around as devout christians which makes me laugh quite hard. I mean, obviously this is a religion created by males. Just look at the facts. Nothing in the Bible respects females and it totally makes it look as if males are superiors to women. Jesus was a man, God was a man. The name for people over all is 'man', not woman. Men were created first. In fact, the woman was just created for the man. The woman was also created FROM the man. the woman was the evil one who cased the man to start sinning with the apple. Eve is the reason for all the bad things if you believe in that crap. I mean, this is a book that was obviously created by some idiot guy. I respect women, but think the women who love the Bible are kind of insane. It has no respect for women. I used to be a christian and my pastor was always disrespectful of women, acting like males rule the world. But how can any christian blame him.

Biblically or in Biblical times, Miracles were commonplace. During the early 19th or 20th centuries, there were a few. Nowadays, zip, nada. Not even a good Marian sighting. Is the world in trouble? Is the end near?

Or for that matter, why give a snake (though apparently one with legs) intimate knowledge of the nature of this fruit?...

Was the snake the being that was made MORE in God's image, and thus was allowed such things and was later punished?... I mean it seems that the serpent would at very least have to be special in that one would assume though it was "punished", and humans were punished, no other animals were, and they can't talk, so was the serpent the most favored of all of God's creations before he tried to help out the others?...

Obviously enough if the reason humans were able to make the "wrong choice" is free will, wouldn't the serpent need free will as well for an omniscient God not to be certain of his actions meaning it wasn't some special gift for man kind?

If we had already sinned in the garden, was there anything to keep our written accounts later on (which apparently had disappeared by the time of Abraham then re-appeared?) from slanting a bit in our favor?...
