Does this proove evolution, or creationism?

Question

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
So, God says we were made of dirt.
Even scientists have said EVERY chemical/mineral in the human body is also found in plain old dirt.
But, in evolution, the first species would have had to evolve from dirt, or bacteria.
Even if this DOES explain evolution, how did the people who formed the Bible know this? It'd be impossible for them to know this yet. And I seriously doubt it was a lucky guess.
So, the fact of us coming from dirt, does this proove evolution, or God?
I personally think it could go either ways, but since they somehow already knew this before scientists, I pick God.

I pick God too. There are many things mentioned in the Bible that we have only recently discovered ourselves.

Also, ancient man just might have been smarter than you think. It is pretty nieve to say we are better off when we know so little.

Dirt is made from star dust. Star dust is the reminants from the big bang of our creator giving birth to everything. Everything is composed of the stuff that the creator was composed of. So it proves that our creator evolved Herself into us and every thing else. If we think of the act of creation as being masculine then everything is backwards. A feminine creator makes perfect sence. Evolution is an act of creation that only an omnipotent being could perform. Evolution works on trial and error proving our creator must have been inteligent. Men can not change the natural laws of creation, but can manipulate them for profit.
There was never a time when there was no life. Some microbes survived the big bang and evolved into us.
Just like we shed dead cells which are reformed into new life forms, is how our creator did it, too.

It says dust, not dirt. And life probably first evolved in water, not dust. So I wouldn't say the Bible KNEW anything about it.

Evolution says nothing about God, so if you think the Theory of evolution is correct you may still believe in God.

First, it's apparent that you don't understand evolution ... er ... at all. When you say "But, in evolution, the first species would have had to evolve from dirt, or bacteria.", you are forgetting that bacteria are species. They would have had to evolve.

As far as evolving from dirt, it is common among pre-scientific aboriginal cultures to assume that we are made from something. As it is easy to fashion objects from clay (or dirt), one could imagine a godlike being fashining an object from clay, or dirt, and then giving it life.

Speculation proves nothing. Sorry.

you won't be able to disprove scientific information, all tries at casting doubt on evolution are merely flimsy wishful thinking that fall flat on its face. the clarification why human beings have fewer chromosomes than different primates is via the fact 2 of the chromosomes fused at the same time into chromosome 2 between approximately 3 million years and 740,000 years in the past.

And, BTW, if you actually READ the bible, it says "Dust" and not dirt, and the only reason dust has a lot of the same human particles is b/c mostly all dust is dead human skin cells. Do your research, b/c obviously it doesn't matter how much you rant, you still look bad.

Good for you. Scientists would lose their careers if they had to admit God was the creator of all things.

Adam was made from the dirt in the ground.

Also, snakes used to have legs. Scientists admit that as well.
God took the legs away in judgement making the serpent crawl on his belly.

The bible doesn't prove squat. Well...except that people incapable of critical thought will buy into the B.S between its pages.

And science doesn't say we are made from dirt. You might want to get a better education.
