Ppl hv different beliefs, desires, needs, social mores, cultures, traditions so they r less likely 2 live in total harmony with other groups even in a homogenous society subdivided into the various subgroups as above. So unless there is God-empowered love, it wld seem difficult but if Humans empower themselves & work towards alturistic ends, it may be possible. (Assuming only) If God does not exist, can Mankind ever do the utmost for, say, the animal kingdom by attempting to adapt the eco-system such that different species still can exist without the Rule Of The Jungle, not as predator or preys, not at different levels of the Food Chain?

People obviously wrote the bible to make people behave lol.
If ignorance is the tool of the devil, then why is it ignorance that makes people continue to believe in the biblical god?
There is no scientific basis to suppose that there is any god.
If God is the only creator, why did he create evil?
Doesn't it make sense if god is female, because only women can give life?
A god is a being that is worth worshiping, so if there is no being worth worshiping there cannot be a god.

It seemed like typical claptrap.

It basicly said that me writing the previous line means I can never be forgiven (Now that's a compassionate God that sets a good example.).

Now that I've read that, how about you fundies read Wikipedia's expanation on evolution and get back to me.

people with personality disorders defend and protect aspects of their beliefs to the death, even if they know it could be irrational, and regardless of wheather the whole world tells them they are wrong.

Well, yeah. What are the motivations for prayer, anyway?

(1) Convince God what He is doing wrong. Ask Him to do something
because you know more than He does. God is all-knowing, but you still
have to tell Him how to do His job.
(2) God likes his *** to be kissed. Otherwise, you'll be mighty
ungrateful. God knows what your sentiments are, He just wants you to
fuggin' bow.
(3) The 700 Club needs money.

Can God read your minds? If so, why waste a finite amount of time and
energy praying to Him?

Prayer is retarded.

Since as you religious people say that GOD created man and that we have to thank him for our existence and that he doesn't ever make mistakes etc... Then why did he made gay, trans, lesbians?
Why did he made people that had more female hormone or vise versa?
I guess you cant really answer that.
Probably you gonna say that a mortal cannot understand the way god works...
So in conclusion leave those people live their lives in peace since it isnt their fault god ''made'' em a bit different than you.

For just one time in your life, do something for someone other than yourself.

Obviously, Charles Colson is right. People who are married are not only happier, richer, and physically stronger, but they are also BIBLICAL.

Plus marriage has the additional benefit of settling down a lot of these loose women.

...a mystical bomb that explodes when you die or a spiritual map imprinted inside your subconscious mined that leads you to your inner most fears where you have to fight yourself for all of eternity, but you don't know who or what these extraterrestrials are and you don't know which of these entities are on your side. If you came in contact what might be a spirit, alien or ghost...

Would you take it seriously or will you accept that you’re insane?

I have thoughts of worshipping the 'seven angels' of the Wise Lord because I think that angels will attend to my needs and provide for me the things I need on the Lord Gods behalf, but do I really need to make offerings and pray to them for them to do so.

Ok! I was wondering if wiccans read the Christian Bible and if they celebrate Christian holidays, ie. Christmas and Easter? Also, do they actually have more then one sexual partner?

I'm not Christian and never have been.

One of the things I don't like about Christianity is, it seems to me that the main motivation Christians have for their beliefs is that God is very powerful and will punish people if they disobey Him. God's message seems to be "worship me or suffer" (especially in the OT), and I just don't respect that as the basis for a way of life.

Now, some people will say that Christianity isn't about fear, but about *love*. That they *love* God. But, can this really be true? Almost every Christian I've discussed these matters with has told me that you can't truly understand God (and certainly can't judge Him)... well... how can you love someone that you can't understand? Also, if you can't judge God, then you can't judge him to be either loving or good, right? If God is beyond our understanding, then I figure love is sort of off-the-table. Love requires understanding.

But fear of Hell? Requires no understanding at all, just aversion to flame.
