simple!! Good science speaks for the Truth and bad science is wrong!! Seek the Truth. Science and spirituality are ideally married - I love Pantheism - the belief that God is Omnipresent. It's a wonderful life!!

I am a Christian.
If people from 100 years ago saw a TV most would swear it to be magic... but it is science.
If we saw a piece of technology from 1000 years in the future... most would swear it to be magic, but it is science.
What we now consider to be magic, extra ordinary or super natural will one day be explainable by science.
Science if true, can not be bad and I believe that the religious extremist's who denounce what is scientificaly undeniable (by our God-given logic) are people who will in time, with our patience, no longer deny that 1+1=2.
I believe that science and religion will eventually be unified.

Good science follows the evidence without predjudice. So does good religion. Science and religion are both supposed to be seekers of truth. Bad religion refutes the plain evidence of science on the basis of nothing more than unauthoritative personal biblical interpretations which have no real authority behind them, yet which are obstinately regarded as infallible.

All science = bad science, especially if I can't follow it,or get bad grades in it.
Mind you, if all science that contradicted God's word was evil, we would still be saying that Earth is the centre of universe, and sun revolved around the sun, and burning to death all scientists who refused to agree.
Burning truthful scientists = Bad religion.

When someone who isn't a scientist tries to establish a scientific "theory" or "law" out of something they can't prove scientifically to begin with. ID. They get real uptight if you ask them to prove God exists in the first place - otherwise they have no standing on "God created...."
This is just an example of course. But that is how I see it. I just can't believe those people aren't embarrassed for going public with such a silly notion that they can prove ID is correct without being able to prove their God exists. I could prove the existance of unicorns with the way they do it.

I think science should be practised in a God-conscious manner, so I would use a utilitarian approach to science. (Achieve the greatest good for the greatest number of people)

some human beings are afraid of the unknown, as i'm helpful you're conscious. the huge majority of what we evaluate technological awareness is basically unknown via the wide-unfold inhabitants. provided that one has made a ingredient of deeply getting to understand the technological awareness can one relatively comprehend it. Sooooooo, as is the human situation, despite won't be able to be understood is attributed to "God's awareness," "God works in mysterious approaches," and "The Bible says..." that is plenty extra undemanding to generalize with a God-fact than the right thank you to envision analyze and analyze. I additionally call that the "flock of sheep" mentality. For that, i'm going to be getting thumbs down via all the loving Christians who, in assessment to your self, refuse to evaluate strategies to their dogma. AS TO NOW? i think of a few (not all, in basic terms some) believers on the instant sense threatened and grow to be protective while technological awareness surely proves a ingredient. Like I pronounced, the data isn't totally understood, so for them, that is safer to grant god all the credit. extra undemanding than taking astrophysics training. additionally, they have been instructed, it type of feels to me, that the Bible explains each little thing, so as a result any scientific answer won't be able to be ultimate. the large Bang isn't in basic terms right, evolution isn't in basic terms right, Adam and Eve ARE ultimate, and so on. i'm helpful there are a number of different motives. possibly a fundamentalist or evangelical believer will care to remark.
