In the old testament God gave Abraham the land of the Canaanites and had them destroy them all because they were evil! That was the old testament, God loves all his children!

Well let's see....
All those tribes who did not obey the one true God.
And that included the disobedient Jews at times......but God would always leave a remnant when it came to His own people.

Thou shalt not kill.
If a criminal is condemned to death after FAIR trail, you will not have a sin if you carry out the sentence. But if you kill senselessly, you are breaking the 5th Commandment.
