(Mark 10:9-to-12) What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

(Mar 10:10) And in the house his disciples asked Him [JESUS] again of the same matter.

(Mar 10:11) And He [JESUS] saith unto them, Whosoever shall DIVORCE his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

(Mar 10:12) And if a woman shall DIVORCE her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

There are More Divorces among those that Say they are Christians, than among those that Are Not Christian!

There are More DIVORCED Christians marrying Divorced Christians!

Didn't Jesus say that IT IS ADULTERY?

Thanks, RR

The Chinese /ghost Festivial
In the seventh month of the Chinese calendar, it is believed that the gate of the Dead is opened,so it is the time for us in worship the dead.
The chinese are very serious in this festival. They burn incense and some paper made accessories such as cars, housees and mahjong in the dead. They believe that these paper offerings can help the dead attain peace.
Thanks^0^

(Mat 24:3 NRSV) When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

(Mat 24:27 NRSV) For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

(Mat 24:30 NRSV) Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven’ with power and great glory.

(Mat 24:34 NRSV) Truly I tell you, *this generation will not pass away* until all these things have taken place.

So the second coming was supposed to occur during the life time of his disiples.. why are Christians still waiting??

What does this verse have to do WITH OTHER WORLD RELIGIONS?

Thanks, RR

I have put some deep thought into this.

I have my own opinions, please don't be mean or anything. I already know that they don't believe Jesus Christ was our savior, and that our savior will one day come.

But I need to know more before I can make a big decision like this.

Apart from Books which were written by men thousands of years ago, sections of which have been edited out by the overseeing authorities for that religion, as well as so many conflicting ideas between them, will any one religion ever be proved right? As there are so many, surely it proves that some, if not all of them are complete rubbish? Also, the books and guidelines were laid down so long ago- now times have changed surely things in the books should change as well?

I am not asking this to be insulting, but out of genuine curiosity. I can think of any number of humanitarian organizations founded on the principles of Christianity or of other religious beliefs, but none come to mind for atheism. Yet I know there must be some. Please inform me. Thanks.

1. The "First Vision" story in the form presented to you was unknown until 1838, eighteen years after its alleged occurrence and almost ten years after Smith had begun his missionary efforts. The oldest (but quite different) version of the vision is in Smith's own handwriting, dating from about 1832 (still at least eleven years afterwards), and says that only one personage, Jesus Christ, appeared to him. It also mentions nothing about a revival. It also contradicts the later account as to whether Smith had already decided that no church was true. Still a third version of this event is recorded as a recollection in Smith's diary, fifteen years after the alleged vision, where one unidentified "personage" appeared, then another, with a message implying that neither was the Son. They were accompanied by many "angels," which are not mentioned in the official version you have been told about. Which version is correct, if any? Why was this event, unknown for so long?

The world won't end on 06/6/06 b/c those numbers differ and it didn't end there.
Won't end on 07/7/07 or 08/8/08 for the same reason.
Won't end on 09/9/09, 10/10/10, or 11/11/11, because those numbers aren't prominent in the Bible.
It'll end on 12/12/12 or 40/40/40 because those numbers are prominent in the Bible.
Do you think my logic's right???

Come on, that was centuries ago. What does that have to do with modern day Christianity? It also has nothing to do with Protestant Christianity, and the Catholic church is a far cry from what it was like during the Medieval time!!

If you absolutely have to go after Christianity, would you stop blaming the religion for what happened hundreds of years ago? PLEASE relate it to a modern day example instead???? The crusades were done in the Middle Ages.

Using that as an excuse to hate Christianity is like blaming any 20th century US administration for slavery which happened prior to the US Civil War?

I am an Atheist and i dont have a problem with any religion or anyone who choses to beleive in God but I have little knowlage on religion and was wondering what does it say in the bible regarding people who dont beleive in God ,and why does it assume we belive in Satan even though we dont belive in he exists? Could Atheists be the most open minded in saying whe dont know how we got here or where we are going, but till we have concrete evidence we will explore diferent opinions, isnt that keeping an open mind about the subject rather than choosing only one religion and sticking to it. What are your thoughts on accepting people unconditionaly?

This past year my kindergarden brother was taught "This little light of mine" and several other christian themed songs. Also a friend of mine was in chior in high school and was forced to sing Christian songs/hymms, or drop the class. Both of them are pagan, The school board did nothing in both cases saying that the teachers reserve the right to teach what they see fit.

I thought Public Schools were unable to teach/force religon.

I believe that If they want to teach christian music they should also teach other religious songs.

I have heard some say that they have called out to God at such times, and promised Him that they would live their lives for Him, if they answered their prayer. I am pleased that some have found God this way, but it's even better to find God because you realise your need of Him, rather than wait for a crisis to occur!

It proves that most people are God conscious - and people prove Him to be true when they call out to Him.

What were the requirements to get in Heaven before the crucifiction? What are they now? How do you know they won't change again?

Please provide chapter and verse that supports your opinion if you aren't just saying something totally unsupported that you made up about what you wish the Bible said, which of course would probably be against the intent of Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18.

Me: Why don't you leave people of other faiths alone? They will come to a church (there are many everywhere) if they want to learn about your religion.

Evangelical: Because we're doing them a service. We just want them to be able to go to heaven.

Me: Why don't you let them find their own path? I'm sure if God loves us, he will love us no matter how we chose to believe or not believe, because that's what love is.

Evangelical: The Bible says accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior is the only way to Heaven, and to be with God.

Me: What about the people that find true peace in Buddhism or Islam?

Evangelical: They are worshiping false Gods and the Bible says you should have no other Gods.

Me: What does what the Bible says matter to a person that doesn't see the Bible any differently that you see the Quran?

Evangelical: That's different. Our book is the right one!

Me: How could you possibly know that?

Evangelical: It says so.

There is no logic in this argument!
