Christ is the only Hope that we have as a Human being.
Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Hebrews 2:14 - Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

You make the point which atheists and secularists hate to have made. Atheistic governments have been the worlds worst murderers of their own people in all of history.
The usual counter is some jibberish about the crusades which killed nowhere near as many. Next they will say Christianity killed more, but will offer no proof. Lastly, they will call you names, because that is how they debate when they lose a point. Attack the person making the argument.

You argument is flawed. Just because a group of people were murderers, doesn't make a different group of people "not so harmful to the world."
A person who is a true Christian, or a true Buddhist, or true Muslim, or is true to any other spiritual practice will seek the interconnectedness of humanity. A spiritual person will find the connections between people and not try to highlight differences. Christianity as it was originally brought to the world by Christ was spiritual and not materialistic.
Unfortunately, through history, we have people who are hypocrites. I have no doubt that there are people who claim to be spiritual who are in fact violent. I have no doubt that there are mass murderers who claim to be atheists... and I have no doubt that there are many mass murderers who claim to be from Christian, Muslim, and ...
At this time in history, we must learn to heal differences and understand each other.

Religion is not the one that is harmful, it is the people who blindly believe everyword, and don't bother to see the true meaning of the belief. The wars and violence caused by religion is actually caused by people who think they are the most devoute, but in reallity they are exactly what they are fighting,
as for the atheistic beliefs, is because the people want full control of the people, they do not want them to be praising another man, god or what ever they call it, they want the people to worship them as the God as their savior.
I persnoally have no problem with atheism, I just have problems with the people who say they are athiest but they really want them selves to be the all mighty

Good question. But ask yourself this. Did any of these characters manage to extingish all of humanity on a whim... you know... like God did during the flood. That said, who's the the most prolific killer of all time?
PS: Before you say "man was wicked back then", I wonder how the children or even the fetuses of the time would respond. Cheers.

You've been very selective in choosing your "most prolific mass murderers".
What about Hitler? What about the Inquisition? What about the Crusades? What about the genocide of the native Americans? What about the slave trade?
The history of Christianity can be summed up in the phrase "convert or die".

Because Christian kill records are a group effort not an individual that is atheist by default as well as immoral or ammoral . They may have been religious and still just as evil . your point is just not as obvious or simple as you would like to think . And how many christians watched or participated without flinching ?

All those men were 20th century rulers. They had technology on their side.
During the Middle Ages, Christians launched the Crusades and presided over the Inquisition. Thousands upon thousands were killed in the name of Jesus Christ.
PS: Hitler was a Christian.

Any such monster was bound to kill more people in recent years than religious leaders did hundreds of years ago, simply because there are far more people available to kill in recent times than in the distant past.

Because according to Christian belief, Christians can do no wrong, because anyone who does something that's frowned upon, that person is no longer and never was a Christian. Thus. all crimes are committed by non-Christians.
