What were the requirements to get in Heaven before the crucifiction? What are they now? How do you know they won't change again?

Please provide chapter and verse that supports your opinion if you aren't just saying something totally unsupported that you made up about what you wish the Bible said, which of course would probably be against the intent of Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18.

Read the book of Hebrews, especially Chapter 9. .....Heb 9:11 "So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. With His own blood, not the blood of goats and calves - He enters the Most Holy Place once for all time and secure our redemption forever. Under the old system the blood of goats and bulls and ashes of a young cow could cleanse people's bodies from ceremonial impurities.....In fact according to the law of Moses nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin.

The requirements to get to Heaven before the crucifixion, was sacrifices of animals and offerings to God.

Jesus Christ was the once and for all sacrifice for our sins, so no other sacrifice needs to be made in the future.

I am not sure where the verse is regarding the sacrifice for sins once and for all, but I can assure you it is in the New Testament of the Bible.

As far as I understand it, in order to be justified before God before the Crucifixion, one would have had to fully obey the Law.

Now, faith in Jesus Christ is required for salvation.

The interesting thing is that no one has ever been saved apart from Christ. The Law pointed toward Christ; the sacrifices given by priests were representative of the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, who became the propitiation for our sins. When Christ came, He fulfilled the Law.

I suggest the book of Hebrews as reference.

May God bless you.

Before Christ Jews were to sacrifice certain animals for certain sins at certain times. Christians were not all Jews, most were Pagans, or gentiles-non-Jewish people. Our requirement has never been changed. Accept Jesus as our personal Savior and lead as godly a life as possible, when we sin we are to repent & try to not do it again.

Actually the requirements are the same as before. You must believe in God. What did Abraham do to be righteous? Remember-that was before the law!!!!!---he believed God.

All those millions of people who dies never hearing of Jesus, get it the same way. Read Romans 1.

Faith in God, plus hope, and charity remain as the minimum requirements for being judged worthy of heaven.
