how can you judge someones quality of life? the christian way

2007-03-20 07:33:11 · 11 answers · asked by Omid 2

I just want to kinda open up this topic because as a Muslim in middle school, I know how it feels to have so many false stereotypes against my faith. But I've always wanted to know how other people feel about things from a different view. So what aspect of your belief do you think is the least understood and why? It doesn't have to be your own faith, but please don't insult others' beliefs. I also want to make more understanding and less hatred(it's impossible to deny) because of that misunderstanding, so go ahead and clear up the misconceptions in your answer. I know this isn't going to make a huge change in society, but even if it can change the mindset of one person from hate to understanding, that really does make an impact. I'll be giving all these answers a good rating regardless of the content, so I just wanted to clear that up. Thanks in advance for the information, and please don't attack other's beliefs.

Because that is what your smart remarks make me believe. Should I catogrize you in an ethnic group of your own? Would you like to apply for benefits?? Give me a break!! Get off your high horses and start having a little kindness in your cold hearts!! My dad is a nonbeliever and I do not love him any less. I do not prance around trying to cram my beliefs down anyone throats. Stop trying to judge and maybe you will not feel as though you are judged.

Doesn't that mean he's just one of us? One who happened to be particularly good, perhaps God's sharing of our path, showing us that it can be done?

This question is crucial to an accurate understanding of the character of God but so often misunderstood or not even thought about by sincere believers.

I read some articles about J.K Rowling. Apparently she was living off the government because her husband left her and her daughter out on the street. So she wrote harry potter to basically feed her daughter. She never expected it to be so famous. Why is it considered the work of the devil?

I anticipate a "created in his image" appeal, but if that were so, why would God need genetalia? Oh he doesn't? Then maybe he needs antlers instead....

In that last question I posed the question about someone who believes in the idea of the Law of Attraction (That which you think about, you bring about... or the great one "I think, therefore, I AM"). I asked if someone was sooo "Heavenly Bound" that death came to them, would it be considered suicide.

This question is to look at Death in general....

Am I wrong to look at Death as having only two (2) causes; and both of them being purely a state of that own person's mind?

Think about it...

I am not saying that Christians are the only ones that should come on here. I just wonder why some ask questions that have nothing to do with religion or spirituality. I have my belief in Jesus whom saved me and you have yours, but let's at least keep it spiritually based.

You CAN prove the "non-existant" by providing UNDISPUTIBLE facts of how you became. Which you cannot and will not ever be able to do.

Science thinks they know, but God gave scientist their minds and is farrrrrrrrr more intelligent than even the MOST intelligent of people.

So, I am quite amused by the FSM. If I were to buy my boys t-shirts to wear, even though we told them that the FSM is not real (I know, blasphemy), would it still be indoctrination? Or would it just be a little good humor?

Will they ever learn that their tactics are producing the opposite of their desired effect? Insulting people, telling everyone they are hellbound, spreading hatred (especially towards gays) attacking other beliefs and using report flags as a form of ideological warfare do not make people want to convert. Which Lord do they really serve when they cause kindhearted people to hate to eve hear the name Jesus?
