Our church helps operate hospices where the terminally ill can be medically, psychologically, and spiritually cared for. We also donate large amounts of money toward caring for the homeless, prisoners, mentally ill, refugees, and other people who are suffering. The best way to care for the suffering and dying is to realize that words alone, regardless of how inspirational, are not sufficient. Direct action is also required.

Do all you can for the terminally ill according to their wishes. Pray for those who are suffering and pray for God's Will Be Done.

Through prayer. I would want to make sure that I did everything I could to make them comfortable. And if terminally ill, I would ask if they are saved. Showing compassion and empathy, time and joy.

Be present. Pray. Make that person comfortable. Put in the time to read them the word of the Lord.

the sam way they always do...threaten them with hell and give them bibles instead of food or medicine.
