In that last question I posed the question about someone who believes in the idea of the Law of Attraction (That which you think about, you bring about... or the great one "I think, therefore, I AM"). I asked if someone was sooo "Heavenly Bound" that death came to them, would it be considered suicide.

This question is to look at Death in general....

Am I wrong to look at Death as having only two (2) causes; and both of them being purely a state of that own person's mind?

Think about it...

The First Cause::
An individual gets to an elderly age and starts to -THINK- thoughts such as, "Gosh, I am getting old, and the norm in society is that this is the time that death is immanent."
Thus, death comes to the person (whether it be a quiet death in their sleep or not).

The Second Cause:
An individual gets, more than likely, to an elderly age (although I can see this possibly happening at any age) and starts to -THINK- thoughts such as, "I truly feel I have fulfilled my purpose in Life and I look forward to moving on into the next life and meeting my creator." (Or anything to that extent).
Thus, death comes upon this person as well, as I am sure we have seen numerous times in Life.

Now, don't worry, as these are just opinions and thoughts, and I don't, myself, have any want to die (or anything like it)...

Rather, I just like to invoke seemingly controversial thought with people. =)

I guess I should also state that the "First Cause" can also happen at any time in Life as well (and not just with elderly people). This can be conveyed when you hear about people in hospitals.

My wife says that many times she will see some people have the highest of spirits about anything they have to come into the hospital for (even the most serious of procedures) and come out just fine (in days). While another person, with a very negative and downward thinking individual can come into the hospital for the same procedures and have many complications.

My wife says she sees this ALL the time. To me this prooves the power of our minds.

Death is unavoidable. Humans cannot live forever. And sometimes death is really just the ultimate rest. It doesn't have to be a negative thought that releases the spirit from the physical body.

So I disagree.

I do agree that our attitudes make all the difference in our health.
