People can open themselves up to spirits and not even know it. There was a man in the Bible who had numerous spirits and they called themselves Legion. There was a woman following after Paul saying he was sent from God and that people should listen to him. Paul knew this was an unclean spirit because it kept up confusion, it was disorderly and caused strife. Paul cast the spirit out of the woman. People today think they are talking to their loved ones who have passed on, but instead are speaking to demonic spirits.
The Word of God says woe unto the inhabitants of the earth because the evil one has been cast down to earth and he knows he has only a short time (to kill, steal and destroy).

No one has the ability to speak with the dead.
Psychics are just entertainment like a circus act. It may look real but it is ALL "smoke and mirrors".
If they were truly psychic they wouldn't have to charge for their services because they could choose the winning lottery numbers at will. When was the last time that happened????
